It's not hard to realise what will happen. ETC price and hash rate, it's security, is in freefall. From the 27th the DAO ATTACKER HAS 3.6 million ETC TO DUMP. Imagine he price and hash rate then.

Maybe after the soft fork is implemented actually, the price will rise a lot. But for the time being, it is still fluctuating.

According to some slock.it, there will not be soft fork due to some DDOS attach vectors, There will be a hard fork soon.
