Though price of ethereum is growing fast but is not possible to reach $10k at the end of 2020. In my opinion, ethereum can reach upto $2k at the end of this year if maximum people hold it.
I thought the OP was just making a joke. because ETH is unlikely to reach $ 10,000 USD by the end of this year, neither will $ 2000 USD. it would be great if ETH could hit $ 1000 USD by the end of this year. considering that ETH transaction fees are currently very high and ETH 2 will be released next year.

But it's a real deal, if we see it in the future, we will never know if we still have it.
This now for sure more people are believing to the ethereum to rise more but the value of $10,000 is impossible it's hard for this coin to hit that but if we give few years for sure it will come that time will see it. Many people expecting high value to the ethereum because they see a lot of improvements in the past few months.

Currently everyone is too busy on Ethereum price predictions, don't go too far to calculate the price because it all takes a long process. It is better to focus on increasing the amount of ethereum so that the desired target can be achieved.
I also think like you, I don't know how much ETH they are holding in their wallet. But they think about the price of ETH all day long and regret it when it goes up. I agreed with you mate, $1000 is reasonable, maybe $1300 and bounce back.
Ethereum is getting obsolete with all its problems, we can see the gas price bow high getting out of hand sometimes when on busy traffic, and it's really annoying, people are start to think about replacing ethereum with another platform that is cheaper and maybe more faster.
Ethereum at present is around $425, atleast a 20X growth is required to reach the mentioned $10000. We don't know when the market changes, without any prior indication the price can move upward or downward. Upon the same any form of growth is possible. In realistic view the price to reach $10000 will cause a big rise in the marketcap and in my opinion ethereum could reach $10000 if the bitcoin reaches $100000.
