We've got news for those who use private keys or keystore files to trade on Ethen: now you can save your session over page reloads and restores. It will last for as long as the browser is open. Opening a page in a new tab or window will cause a new session to be initiated.

An important update on how gas prices are set on Ethen. Now you can see the current gas price in the top-bar drop-down menu. This is the gas price recommended by Ethen. If you want to change it click on the 'Gas price', and set your own value for all transactions, deposits, withdrawals and transfers.

Now you can select a specific date to display the trades on Ethen. To do that choose your own trades or all trades, and click on the calendar icon in the Trades section.

Ethen FAQ:

Who can trade on Ethen?
Anyone! There are no country restrictions, and you don't need to register or create an account to start trading. This also means no identity verification, filling in forms, or uploading documents and waiting for them to be checked. You can get going right away after connecting your wallet.

What is special of this project exchange. Is this same with other ERC20 market platform right?

Hello,

The main differences are
- the absence of registration (we don't collect any user data),
- improved architecture with trade signature which allows to synchronise the status of orders so that you never get one that has already been matched or expired,
- bulk order execution which automatically selects matching orders at best price, and is only available on centralized exchanges at the moment
- user friendly interface.

Our team is working hard and daily volume is increasing every day!

Hello it is good to see an Ethereum-based tokens exchange. What are the requirements for tokens to be listed on your exchange? As far as I remember idex doesn't list tokens that has been airdropped before, is there any condition like that on your exchange?

Hello,

No such requirements to be listed on our exchange! The only condition is to have ethereum token and deployed smart contract.
Anyone can add a token themselves and start trading! However it will be unverified. In order to verify, a representative of the token has to reach out to us in our telegram chat https://t.me/ethen_market or simply send an e-mail at [email protected] and make that request. We will then send them a document to collect some information regarding the token and it will soon be verified after that!

The site is easier and quicker to use. All it lacks is users. There are no enough buy and sell order for coins to start with.
Collaborating and listing newer tokens for the first time would create some traffic to start with.

Thank you for your kind words! Our team is working hard and is listing new tokens every day! On June 28th we reached the milestone of 100 ETH trading volume!

Ethen FAQ:

What is an order expiration date?
Each order created on Ethen has an expiration date. If the order hasn't been filled within a set period of time tokens will return back to your balance on the exchange, and will be displayed in the 'Balance' section in the bottom left corner of the site. By default the expiration time is 24 hours from the moment you create an order, but you can set custom date and time.

Ethen’s fees on transactions are very simple: 0.25% taker fee.
This is it: there are no hidden maintenance payments, no fees for placing buy/sell orders on the order book, no fees on deposits and withdrawals.

Don't forget about Ethereum transaction fees (gas) that are sent to miners for executing a trade and sending tokens or ETH from/to your wallet.

Ethen FAQ:

How to find orders at best price?
Good news: you don't need to do anything. Ethen will automatically offer you the best orders that are currently available on the order book. There is no need to go through the whole list in search of the best price for the token you'd like to trade, as is often the case on other decentralized exchanges.

When you create an order the server will automatically find the best match and offer you orders with the lowest or equal price (for the buy order), or orders with the highest or equal price (for the sell order). It works in the same way when you select an order from the order book, so don't get surprised if you get a better deal than expected.

In addition to MetaMask and Nano Ledger you can now connect other Ethereum wallets on Ethen by importing your private key from a keystore file. A lot of of popular Ethereum wallets (e.g. MyEtherWallet, Mist)  have an option for generating a keystore file.
This is a way to have a safer trading experience than simply using your private key. The keystore file contains a version of the private key encrypted under your passphrase. This means a potential hacker won’t be able to get access to your wallet without both the keystore file and the password. The file itself can be stored on your hard drive, reducing the risks of a malware stealing your private key.
Just make sure you keep your keystore file and password in a safe place. You will lose access to your private key if you lose the keystore file, or forget the password associated with the file.
