I think for the year 2018 the price of etherium will reach 1500 $.how about you?
I think it will begin to rise eventually, but $1K in Jan 2018 might be a stretch. It has already started to pick back up and is approaching the $500 level once again. It might take longer than January, but I think the price will eventually get there.
The etherium has a great potential. It is provided with real assets. You just look at its growth from April 2017 and you will understand everything yourself. This is the currency of the future and the goal of $ 1000 will be achieved very soonIn my opinion it will take more time to reach 1.000usd level. January 2018 looks too soon to me. First half of 2018 will be possible tough.
I dont think ethereum will reach 1000 at the first month of 2018, it is having having a major problem here, the transactions recently is being delayed for many days, the consequence of cryptokitties recently have made eth slow down rapidly, if eth developers can not fix this problem, eth will hardly reach 1000$ in the future.
I think so that it is very hardly to increase $1000, if like this the ethereum networks is bad now.
So many transaction is pending. I hope this issues is solved soon.
If BTC continue to slay the alts which could result to killing the alts well $1k mark of ethereum wont be possible.
I would really wish this speculation is true right now because we are in December already. But believe you me, it is not looking like Ethereum will be $1000 this December.

That's only 2x from current price so I can't see it taking long. Jan however is a little soon, I think it will happen before summer next year though. The crypto market is booming and no one want to sell.
I hope it will happen but with its current situation right now, the probability is low. Though the popularity of ethereum is increasing fast, the change in its price is very little.
I am not sure what will happen to ethereum maybe 1k some day but not now, let's see what will happen when they implement pos first.
Ethereum's value right now is kind of low because of how clogged the blockchains were, but if this problem is sorted out next year then ethereum's value might become good again, but I don't think it will reach your 1000 usd mark.

I think it is very likely, and possible much more. As soon as Bitcoin's price will stabilize, I guess it will be the time for Ethereum to rise.
In the 2018 -2020 Ethereum will continue to grow, I am sure. Otherwise perspectives for Bitcoin is unclear as for me. Ethereum is the best cryptocurrency to invest big amount of money nowadays.
I think it is a little bit of a dream to think that it will be worth 1,000 in less than a month when it is at 400.

Currently kittens are killing ETH.
I have an EIP pending, if it gets approved, ETH may outperform taht 1000$ mark also.

WE are all hoping to see Ether go to $1K by January but it seems to have slowed down its pace... maybe because of the corrections and all these cats taking over the ethereum network
