i think that is impossible, ethereum wont have a chance to encrease that fast in just 2 months, specially it is having major problem of delay transactions recently, that is impossible to investors to trade with a delay coin, they may dump eth, use another coin, make eth price drop much more.
Ethereum does have potential to get to that price. There is half the amount left to get to that price.

Anything is possible if Bitcoin Cash managed to reach 2,8k I believe ETH can reach its dream target of $1000!

ethereum have several problem this month that make the transaction so slow. i think thats what makes eth value stagnant. but i do still believe there is still potential for eth. the value is under value compared to bitcoin. i believe next month will be big for ethereum All we have to do is buy more and wait and see!

Frankly, right now with the problem that have in the blockchaine of the ethereum with crypto kitties, and knowing that there are 3 weeks before January 2018, $ 1000 is impossible. After I can be wrong but it is unlikely.
In my perspective, ethereum will not reach to $1000 but can pump slowly and steadily gaining profits through each year.
In theory it is possible and Ethereum can reach 1000 in January . After a good BTC pump traders will exit in altcoins and for sure , Ethereum is one of them , so probably we will see a pump of altcoins (hughe or not - time will show). But assuming difficulties in eth network , it is more likely to see eth between 700-800 , thats what I think
it can be up to such a value but the problem is the etherium itself can invest in the long term.

I don't think ETH will get to 1,000 by January but it will continue to increase. It wouldn't be a bad investment regardless.
Wouldnt mind ethereum catching a wake up and mooning a bit again. I missed the first moon from when it was 30 dollars to 300 dollars... That was about 7 or 8 months ago? It think its due time now hehe

This can really be one of the problems, why Ethereum will be difficult to reach such a mark. Also, as far as I understand, at the beginning of the new year the crypto-currency market will not be very active. Is not it? I doubt that the etherium will reach the 1000 mark in 2018 I think that this will happen somewhere in the middle of 2018 or until bitcoin has not been managed to grow at such a speed
I am not sure if Ethereum can reach this level in 2018, but it seems a bit hard to happen, especially if the problems of its blockchain still like nowadays, it will not encourage the new investors to tarde or use this coin.
No, this definitely will not happen. Now the coin is cheaper, but not more expensive. Therefore, it will not be able to reach $ 1000 in two months. This is just unreal
The price is below $500 at a moment so its not easy to achieve that price in quick time but surely possible to see that price on the charts in the mid of next year or finally by the end of next year.
i agree , maybe hard to reach $1000 end this year , maybe will middle-next year , just my prediction.because day by day , ethereum transaction its so slow , because of crypto-kitties game make ethereum transaction heavy , most transaction can complete using 21gwei , but now eth need 51gwei for completing transaction for like normal transaction time.
how long this will go ? hard to withdraw if using low gas , need to wait 8-10 hours for complete transaction if using gas lower than 51gwei.
