Ethereum still has a lot of catching up to do. It fell from 0.15 BTC back in June to 0.05 now. Today Bitcoin made a big jump compared to Ethereum again.
Everything is possible! Look at bitcoin and it becomes clear that the Ethereum after a couple of years can cost much more than 1000 dollars.

Well, I aim $2000 for ETH within 2 years, but I don't have a specified time for this. This can be either in 2018 or in 2019. The time will tell us. Ethereum blockchain is changing and they will be a pos type of structure. This will make the price increase clearly, if you ask me.
If Ethereum goes through 500$ it will be unstoppable and will have an opporunity to hit the price that is close to 900-1000 by the end of this year. We will see
wow, that's a very fantastic value for eth! my initial prediction is only $ 600 and now it's almost $ 500 / eth. it's good, interesting to look forward to next year
I think it's possible. Especially if ethereum manages to surpass bitcoin in marketcap there's going to be a good amount of FOMO driving the price even higher.
I do not think Ethereum can hit $1000. The capitalisation will be too huge to imagine!

Ethereum is still undervalued as of now it really can reach 1000usd mark but i think it will be on 2018. So if anyone is planning to be invested ethereum is a good coin
I think it may happen like Feb-March,Etherum is going in right direction by upgrading his network,learning on his mistakes.Devs are able to colaborate,only Parity is problem by Parity is not Etherum
I also have the same opinion with you. My expectation in early 2018, ethereum price will be higher than $1000. Who cares Parity, they just can't test all before distribute wallet.
I think 1000-2000 will be seen next year, provided that bitcoin will not be more than 12,000. It will also be interesting to see how eth will counter more technologically advanced competitors

Everything is possible. Today Ethereum is at $483, for how many months it stood at $280-$330 but now it exploded at $483 more than $100 in at least one week.

Of course, ethereum will fall. But as of what happen to ethereum price today, i can say that $1000 is quite possible to happen. Though I doubted to happen it by January but I believe that Ethereum will go for that certain amount in the coming days.
Now this is something quite unique happening. Increasing the price of Bitcoin affects the price of Altcoin and even gives a positive impact that is an increase in the Altcoin majority. if viewed in broad outline then Etherum is one of the best altcoin and has a high success rate. So it is very possible if many people predict that the Etherum will pass the price of 1000 $. I'm sure this will happen and our job is to wait until the time comes. Of course, ethereum will fall. But as of what happen to ethereum price today, i can say that $1000 is quite possible to happen. I'm gonna be honest. I really like what's going on with ETH at the moment, all the hype and everything. I see other members commenting that's because a lot of ICOs use it, but I think that's not the only reason. Lower fees than BTC, faster transactions and all of the users being satisfied with everything is what makes it so good. $1000 usd in January 2018? You can't really be sure, but I'm guessing that it will be stable at around $750 at that time because of the amount of users switching to it.

$1000 in 2018 could be but in your title, Jan 2018 is out of the question. Can't go that kind of price without a strong and nice feature back up. Need your suggestions

Yes. Now its the time for Ethereum to rise high. May be it could go over 1000$ as it looks like.Bitcoin has already gone to moon and not stopping either so now tine to Ethereum to fly.

If they can salve few problems.. it will go to moon easily... popular,strong,reliable coin...
