Long-term investments for Etheruem may be more appropriate. because ico is also sluggish, not many have managed to reach the target, it makes etheruem's growth not so good either. because if the ico project is crowded and many who reach the target will grow etheruem transactions faster.

One of the things I consider before investing in any project is the team and how effective they are, thus in addition to that and many more ETH is my first option when it comes to altcoins and I intend holding for long.

Yes I agree with you. ETH is always my number one altcoins for long-term, as I believe in the team and the platform. But yet, it doesn't stop me from looking at other projects i think are worth investing, like XLM.

Indeed Ethereum is a profitable coin for long-term investment but on the other hand altcoin is not only Ethereum there are so many altcoins like ETH that are good for investing in such as Litecoin, XRP and EOS. These coins will certainly develop to become the best altcoin because of many rivals.

I don't think Ethereum is worth investing in. Look at Coinmarketcap, there are so many good potentials with large volumes on the market, if you find a better token, then invest immediately.

I think so. I filled my pocket at at the price point of 80$-100$. Ethereum is always one of the best project in this market. It is the most used and most popular platform till now. But the competition is bigger now and in this market there are many project which is better than ethereum technically. But they also did some progress they already worked on the hard fork and they announced that they will be solve the scalability issues. So I think it will be great again and ico/ieo market are growing again. So I think it will be give profit in long term.

If you'll read the quoted post you'll see why it makes sense to mention Bitcoin. If you post without reading is not my fault. As for the Ethereum to be superior to any other coin, is just your opinion, mine is different: no coin out there is perfect, neither Bitcoin or Ethereum this is why no cryptocurrency has gone mainstream until now. Here are some of my opinion regarding the price drop of eth. Eth has become trending when ICO last 2017 hit the market. Lots of ICO, prefer eth payment to purchase their token so many investors buy eth the reason why it pump so hard.

Now that ICO is fading and replace by IEO, I think the competiton becomes tight since most exchange prefer their own token to participate on their IEO. Meaning the investors eth or btc will be used to buy this hence price of this will drop.

Now the market will stay as it is but new leaders will probably the exchange with their tokens.

For me, ethereum has the trust of several investors and traders here in crypto world. Even some of the ico projects uses ethereum coin to be the rewards of their campaign, it just shows that many are trusting ethereum, and i beleive that it is to be the number one for a long term investment coin.
