Hacking is one legitimate and worrisome concern about ETH for me. But aside from that, including the fake hype and some more accusations, do not matter to me anymore. What I am seeing right now is ETH doing well in the $300 level.
I think eth is a nice and promising altcoin in the future, because very many successful ico projects use eth .. so its conclusion keep eth and do not stay away
Ethereum is one of the very good projects available in the market right now. Ethereum's value will surely increase in future simply because of the fact that many upcoming ICOs are based on ethereum Blockchain. I think everyone should invest in ethereum as it will show fast growth in future.
Actually, ICO market is the main reason helps Ethereum can growth and increasing the price in this year. Because when investor want buy token use platform Ethereum, they need have Ethereum before buy them. So the demand on market always high than suppy

Ethereum is a good altcoin. It always has a good and better platform. I'd rather invest in bitcoin and ethereum when the time comes as I've heard a lot of good points to consider in these two coins. Ethereum is one of my best altcoins. But these period there is a big pump and dump of prices so it is a bit risky to invest as of now.
Etherium is a good altcoin from almost all of the coins on the market. it has it's own blockchain and it has alots of updates from time to time. but the negative thing about ETH. well ETH is centralized someone is controlling ETH they can do what ever they want to the coin.
Eth is good altc, has his own platform and has a smart contract, later there will be many tokens that use smart contract ethereum. I think ethereum is the best altcoin compared to other altcoins because it occupies second position after bitcoin.
As a trader, I won't stay away from ethereum, it's been doing well right now and can't see any wrong or a difficulties for not taking or putting an investment into it.

In despite of last issue Ethereum becones more strong and i think they doesn't treat it as a failure instead a challenge for them to make ethereum grow again and get back on track like what we saw now. The ethereum platform has many advantage it is why new ico is using its platform. For me it is a good alt like bitcoins it is an altcoin not a fiat nor government money . As long as Ethereum is in continuous development and become more useful in the future, it is a good coin.
Yeah, I believe that too, as long as they will develop it, it will be a great coin. And besides have you looked at the value of it? It is not a joke, the price are growing and it is pretty negotiable. The price are not low compared to other altcoins. Me myself and also my friends have been holding our ethereum since a month and more. We are believing that it will grow and we can gain profit in it.

I've seen a lot of posts positive and negative about Ethereum.
At the moment I am holding Bitcoins, but I have invested in some Ether as well.
Now I am wondering, what are legitimate concerns about Ether (except for IPO, as I've already read this in a lot of posts).
So can anyone bring real other issues to the table, to enlighten me (and maybe a lot of other readers?)

For me ethereum is a good altcoin, as long as it is being developed and it has good transaction rates. I am now using ethereum wallet and for that i trust ethereum. Also ethereum is among the best altcoins ive heard , all the currency good and bad concerns it depends on how you interpret the situation. ETH - Ethreum is a good coins. I think so many negative thought happened now cause on BTC - E hacking, 210 Millions hack and its cause for decreasing price of Ethreum. And the one mist affect why ETH. Dump is on Bitcoins Segwit. Many people sell there Altcoins to get Air drop of BCC/Bitcoins Cash. But see again Ethreum price can easily go back on its Market Price 0.07 to 0.09 BTC each.And the one strongest reason why ethreum is not scam is

Ethereum has left the bear market, it seems
tO MANY COMPLETLY IGNORANT PEOPLE RECENTLY PURCHASED OVERPRICED MINING RIGS. tHEY WILL SELL EVERY ETH POSSIBLE SINCE ROI WENT FROM 4 MONTHS TO 2 YEARS ON THEIR NEW EQUIPMENT. sO THE PRICE IS CERTAIN TO DECLINE. nO ONES BUYING THE GARBAGE BUT PLENTY ARE SELLING.
So I guess U forgot to disable capslock, as the letters that should be capitalized are small-case.
IMO we have to wait for the first succesfull Dapp, that will be create a working use-case for ETH to make another huge leg up
Well thanks for bringing these 'facts' to light.
First fact: profit for mining decreased by 75% > people will be selling every eth they can.
Second fact: Eth devs dumped 92 million Eth > because they don't dont feel the price would increase in value
Despite these "facts", the price of ETH is still at least 1000% higher than when I started the topic.
Again: IMO, the value of a coin/ico/platform is what people are willing to give for it.
Be it speculative value or intrinsic.

I think it is a good investment option and you can expect your investment to grow manly times within a short period of time like a year. I think everyone should invest in ethereum.
Investing in Ethereum is indeed very nice but I'd rather invest in Bitcoin because there's very little risk. Investing in Ethereum is not wrong and many people are already investing there but I put more emphasis on Bitcoin.
I think the price is quite good to get it now
