When compared with the blockchain technology, then we can say that the etherium is the best, from the side of the security and speed. The biggest problem is not many developers who invest to make new wallet so it looks inferior to bitcoin.

I thought the Ethereum is not so secure. It was under attack many times.

Many of the coins that use the etherium (iconomi, chronobank, qtum and many more), but that makes me confused is etherium transaction has more than 1 million confirmations, I wonder why confirmation too much?

Stay away: because its a premined, centralised fuel, it not not even a coin so you cant compare it with good crypto like bitcoin. It is not owned by the people like bitcoin, but by bankers, and big company's they use the technoloy of it and they can set the price on what they want. Dont get trapped in this scam. Stay in bitcoin or only use it for short term pumps

This is not true.

Pre-mined? Really...

Centralised fuel? Really...

Not comparable to Bitcoin? Really... Do you know Ethereum is faster and cheaper?

Owned by bankers and big companies? Really... Inherently bad, right? Very few companies and bankers at the crowd sale. The biggest holders are individuals. Companies and banks came late.

Banks and companies can set the price? Really... Lol.

Scam? Lol.

Conclusion: "stay in bitcoin". LOL!

Hi everyone, I've been around for a while now..
I've seen a lot of posts positive and negative about Ethereum.

At the moment I am holding Bitcoins, but I have invested in some Ether as well.

Now I am wondering, what are legitimate concerns about Ether (except for IPO, as I've already read this in a lot of posts).

So can anyone bring real other issues to the table, to enlighten me (and maybe a lot of other readers?)

Thanks!
In my opinion  this is fully safe because I tried to investigate about the ETH in every manner but never find anything that is doubtful , so directly I will say that it is safe and trusted .
Here it should be noticed that the transaction and data are operating at DAGGAR algorithm which is yet not copied by anyone .
Since many times attackers attacked on the exchanges to steal the ETH but the owner team of ETH gives compensation for that attack , So here I will say just invest more in the ETH without making any double in your mind because it's owner team and algorithm are safe and Trusted .

I told you all ETH was a gud buy and was at cheap prices. Prepare the launchpad.

Do you think the price is too high now?

I think after this correction and consolidation, any price below $40 is a buy (for me)

Can you tell me about your point? Why am i need to be stay away from the ethereum at this point?  Huh Tongue

This is a good coin for the every trader.
Which point are you talking about.? Eth has gained Good value from the time of the OP. Even now the market of eth is good and gradually increasing. It's the point where you invest some.

I agree, my average cost per ETH is about 11$, but I might be investing more at any next dip that goes beneath 16$
ETF NO can be a pump for ETH, ETF YES can be a short dip for ETH but afterwards it will follow BTC

It seems that the Ethereum has very active developments recently. That will underpin the price.

Ethereum will grow more valuable over time. Excellent coin
How about elaborating more why Ethereum will grow more valuable over time and why it's an Excellent coin. It's very easy to say that but giving out point by point explanation why you think it is what it is it will help others think the you do. if you can't explain it then your post nothing but garbage.

I'm waiting to see what all these secret meetings have been about. There is a remarkably good chance that they will say something that will push the price up, and keep saying things to keep the price up while certain people cash out. That means they need the price to stay up for like a year or so. Nothing massive but maybe $30 or so.

The other thing is, Ethereum Classic is starting to get their sh*t together and doing some relatively interesting stuff. Barry Silbert is launching this ETF thing. They are building a new core VM in Rust (an amazing language for safety). They are addressing (or trying to anyway) the langsec class of vulnerabilities that Ethereum is prone to. It took a while for things to come together and it's still in flux of course. I wouldn't actually make any financial recommendations and you shouldn't listen to me anyway, but I'm personally betting on far higher gains (in terms of percentage not nominal) for ETC this year than ETH.

Yeah there is a lot of push factors. There are many actual people who are investing their time and effort into applications built on ethereum, so it's not just purely a currency token.

The market around ETH isnt as big as it is around BTC, but with projects like Iconomi, Augur, Golem etc. it has many opportunities to reach mainstream and succeed
