If the price rises, it is a good coin. If it drops, it is a bad coin. It was a bad coin for the last two weeks.

ethereum is a good alt but i will stay away for now.

it is good because it has a lot of hype and as a trader i like the big swings and the hype which changes the price but i will stay away for the time being because it is dumping time and the price is taking a hit and i don't wanna lose.

I personally have sold all holdings of ETH and continue to mine it. We saw so much action in a short amount of time with ETH and it is IMHO bound for a major correction down to a range that is still profitable for mining. I think it will drop to .009 to .016 in the midterm and stabilize somewhere in that range for a while. Long term I am bullish on ETH but don't share the sentiment that it is going to kill bitcoin. I simply believe that the growth potential in this sector has yet to be realized fully.

If in doubt, my advice (to be taken with a grain of salt) is to hold bitcoin and use bitcoin.

bitcoin is much less safer than other altcoins such as Etheruem or Monero. But the latter has more potential.

Potential for upside or downside? The volatility of some of these alts is scary.
Monero has taken a sharp dip lately (although it is up today) and there is no telling where it may go.

It seems to have found another support and holding steady, Development-wise it seems the projects are continuing uninterrupted. Price-wise I don't know if it is a good time to step in (if you're out at the moment)

The support is in the 0.016x range. It is lower than the previous support. If the price break 0.03 again, it will be good.

Good alt or stay away?
it seemed so good in the beginning to me but after the excessive amount of spam and all the FUD that the ETH supporters spread about bitcoin just to get the pump going for their bags i kept my distance because i resented that and only used the first big rise to take some profit from the pump.

now i don't even look at ETH anymore.

If there is continuous development of the Etheruem platform, and more DApp appear, I think Eth has future.

anyone who is buying eth at these prices is looking to burn their money. My two cents.

The price below $8 is quite good for the Ethereum. It is a unique coin and will be used a lot in the future.

I'd say that the time of buying ethereum has come. It's $9 now and I think that it is only gonna rise from now on, it has fallen enough in last few days.

Eth seems to be a good alt, but i would not buy it at current prices. I am positive the price will go back soon in a few weeks from where
I will start buying eth.

Looks like the weak hands are going to have a tough time Holding ETH.

What about you? Are you selling? Or holding..
I'm still holding it even I only have 3pcs of it I still believe that eth will pump back a week ago it went to almost .03 so there's a big possibility that it will pump back and good opportunity to those who have that much money the price is affordable. good luck to us mate.

Im gonna hold as well, as I've diversified enough between BTC and ETH.
If it goes down to sub $1 it doesn't hurt that much.. I'm curious if we've already seen ATH of Ethereum or if this is a classic 'buy the dip'/'weed out the weak hands' scenario
yes mate just keep hold on there still another pump because dev still working on it
might be a good day on monday I still got a feeling that whale will start to work
on it, lisk is showing from yobit and whales are playing on it now how they work
again with eth.
