yeah i agree totally with you that etherium is ico king and is seems at least for now like this but i think also future is in this way and i hope so.
Ethereum is indeed the king of ICO. Last year's market was able to land on the moon, because the ICO market is very popular among investors! But this year it is very bad!

All of ico project always use etehreum for their payment or buying ico coin, for the first time ico launch an know to the public almost ico use ethereum for buying and invest their coin, when ethereum on higher price many ico will be success but now when eth is drop many ico have scam.

Yes, i agreed on that. Eth is so useful nowadays because most of the ICO only accepted eth for the payments and its a friendly smart contract too. Eth will always be on the tail of bitcoin but someday eth will overcome on bitcoin.
Yes I believe that statement is actually correct, ethereum is the ICO king. Most ico's use ethereum as their main platform. Ico's depends on how well ethereum is doing. Right now ethereum is not doing well and the price have gone down. Because of that all ico's right now are on the down low as well.

Yes, Its because they are from IPO, Also from token sale of ETH. And almost 89% of all ICO was doing like what they did and to be success. So the other project are trying to do like ETH, So they have chance one of those project will like to be ETH in the future. I would not agree more on the above topic question, Bitcoin is the King, Ethereum maybe popular but have not gain the optimum support system of the market on crypto currency, the price value of almost all crypto and ALT are on the ups and down in the market, yet, Bitcoin remain number one among all the Crypto and ALT coins in the market.
