The possibilty is less that ETH could follow the path of bitcoin like hitting the $7,000 too because there are already lot of altcoins to choose from and bitcoin is the strongest challenge in which people are already build the trust and the reputation of their investments. If just happen that ETH was the first to be created as 1st digital coin then it will be the ETH is the one with $7K value right now. But at least ETH is the lead of all altcoins that is why there is a less possibility but less is better than none.

no , i dont think it can have the same scenario as bitcoin did although etherium can still potentially increase after some time but it cant pump that much just like happened to bitcoin, as you can see the past history of etherium , its value arent increaseing that much therefore i guess it will be having a hard time for its value to grow more unlike to bitcoin that its easy for it to jump in just a few weeks. thats why i can say that etherium is not the future of currency but bitcoin does.

Yes ethereum has a brigther future but it not means it will replace bitcoin on the top of crypto currency, ethereum is good to hold for long period of time like bitcoin it is next coin to bitcoin, and it has more miners and investors that is why the demand are continue to increase.

While it's a good coin, it's not one of the first if not the first digital currencies like bitcoin. For this reason, I doubt that it will ever make it to/past 7k, but I could be corrected any time now. However, I doubt this will happen. (Feel free to reply or pm me if I'm proven wrong at some point. xD)

this could happen because from the beginning until now ethereum has shown a very extraordinary development ethereum can compete with Bitcoin in the future.

No one really knows but in my opinion, bitcoin is the REAL future. Why settle for a cryptocurrency that has less value, compared to bitcoin? It might show some potential in the future since it is one that has shown steady growth throughout the years but bitcoin will surely defeat its value. The price might be low compared to bitcoin and I suggest that you invest into both to enjoy opportunities of success in the future.

Yes it is possible. I believe that Ethereum is a more advanced digital money than Bitcoin. Ethereum has more features than digital money. I also think Ethereum is not a rival to Bitcoin. Ethereum is a brand new technology that will use blockchain technology for different purposes, and after 2-3 years the future of Ethereum will be very good.

in the world of digital currency all can happen, if its developer ethereum is nicer and safer then ethereum will be a bitcoin heavy rival. and be the king of all digital currencies in the future.

I believe there is so much more to happen when it comes to the future of ethereum, since it is still young any are epeculating about the future of this coin for the speculations, trust and fear are the driving factors that causes the prices of coins to flactuate. We can just hope for the better and technically should spread our coins, for if one project is all you have chances are you may go broke or you may get rich, I prefer the latter.

It will never happen since Bitcoin is a lot different and it is the first coin in the world. Along with Ethereum you see a lot of coins everyday so its not possible to gain high price like Bitcoin.

Yes it's possible, as long as its development is active and keeps on innovating. They have a great team of developer, which make the coin futurr promising. Smart contract has a lot of potential, and its current use is nothing compared to what we could have in the future. AFAIK there is no mainstream thing that use smart contract as of today. It's still in the world of cryptocurrency.

I can see Ethereum side by side with Bitcoin in the future, each one complement each other. Bitcoin as the main, gold-like currency/assets, and Ethereum as a mean of innovating and more specific use cases.

Yes it is, the same as bitcoin they both share the same aspects and that is currency. Ethereum will increase its value in the future when bitcoin begin to be stagnant, same goes the other cryptocurrency.

I don't think we could reach a scenario like bitcoin, however, still a very positive one. Bitcoin just has too much more market than any other coin and this is a fact.

But I can't disagree that in 2 years I can see ETH gaining a good share of the market. Lot's of people nowadays aren't putting all their eggs on the same basket. Many people are diversifying their investments and most people will go on buying eth

It's a good coin, I like how the smart contracts work. But I don't think we will see much movement on eth yet, and prices will remain stagnant for a while.
