Etherum is going to be a good long term investment. There are lots of new ico's and tokens utilizing the Etherum smart contract platform which will make it more demanding. It definitely has great potential and large developer team behind it. I am waiting for it to get near $200 to buy more. So definitely a HODL.
An interesting opinion, ethereum will be expensive someday! I think ethereum can follow bitcoin traces, more and more people are using ethereum for longterm investment including me, i hope ethereum can like bitcoin at the moment.

I like ETH, more on investment dont be long. I think that's enough to be considered. because now ETH is more involved with the number of ico. this would be great. I agree eth dont make long invest.
Of course, yes. ETH is one of the most powerful altcoins. Besides btc, i invest with long term motivation because looking from history and development eth is very good.

this year the price is quite high then ETH deserve to be the coin of future investment.

Yes Eth is for long term, As an update, Ethereum is having a Byzantium upgrade for Metropolis. Also Ethereum has so much token under its wings which are successful also with bigger capitalization. Eth is good to hold for long term, seems undervalue as of now.

Yes, Ethereum is a very promising long-term investment, in my opinion I think so. I also encourage people to refer and invest in Ethereum, I am also investing in Eth. Not only me but many other people like it too. In the last few years, that Eth has begun to grow and have potential value, it has been compared and competed with Bitcoin. Its foundation is quite solid blockchain with transactional programming functions, able to perform peer-to-peer contracts. Eth is definitely the safest best of all coins. Im HODLING for a few years at least. I say it is around $2,000 - $3,000 by 2019.
I totally agree with you and I believe that ethereum is one of those coins which can proove to be investment of the lifetime. It currently hosts most of the ICOs and is one of the most popular platform for new projects. You can expect really good growth from it.
It is not a hosts for ICO tokens, Ethereum is only a platform help devs ICO projects can build their token from it. It like Google gives their platform is Android to companies produce smartphone

Yes, it is a long term investment. More than any other cyrpto, Ethereumnis gaining value every day by more and more companies being built on their platform. I also think that the EEA (ethereum enterprise alliance) is massive. When you have the worlds biggest companies on your side, it helps.

For me that is so, currently I am keeping about 26 eth and I will keep it until the ETH algorithm switches to POS
Technically, Ethereum is much more than an investment. It isn't a simple crypto like the others. It is a currency which can be exchanged into hundreds, and soon-to-be thousands of tokens serving a wide range of companies. This is enormously valuable. Each day that passes I am starting to think ETH will eventually surpass BTC to become the #1 crypto. It is even more crazy to think that it was under $40 less than 6 months ago!!!
Ethereum was supposedly built as an ecosystem for decentralised apps. But come to think of it, has anyone seen from the hundreds of ICOs that have passed, any of the projects actually use Ethereum for a real life purpose (other than trading, and sending payments since this is all currency related)?
I am not knocking ETH. I am just saying it does not feel like its true potential is reached. Again. Not talking about price.

It is and they have proof of that, they are in the number two in the coinmarketcap and the biggest threat to Bitcoin's supremacy and 90% of Icos are using Ethereum's smart contract it's only a matter of time before they give Bitcoin a rum for their money

I personally think that ETH is better for long term investment. But it's always up to you on what coins you should invest in. Never invest in any coins if you have doubt. Also check the market for changes or updates before deciding to sell or buy coins, it's always the best to be ready before investing on something. And also, I really think that ETH has a future and is also a safe investment.

Almost all ICO projects use the Ethereum platform, which makes Ethereum a good long-term investment, as it will certainly have a very high price over the next few years. They have a good community, good foundation and there are always plenty of whales supporting this market. For everyone thought that's after quick profit, they may gamble (sometimes with low risk, others with high - do your research first to limit the damage!) on other altcoins or even on ICOs...
