Yes, I think it is great for long term investment. I believe Ethereum will increase its value in the next coming years so most likely it will be good for long term investment and it is progressing too just like bitcoin. Many developers also prefers to use the Ethereum blockchain recently especially those joining the ICO projects, so there really is room for growth for this coin.

I agree that etherium is also good for long time investment. It is believed to be next to Bitcoin when it comes top cryptocurrency made by users depending on each of cryptos market value. Etherium is having a stable growth. Its market cap is now half of Bitcoin's if I'm not mistaken which is a good sign that it is continuously developing in all aspects. We may expect that it will be more successful in the future. Please share your valuable opinion.
I think ethereum can surely show some serious growth in the coming years and we can surely expect the price to reach the sky in the coming years. It is one of the most successful projects yet and we can expect the price to reach around 600$ by end of next year.
I think Ethereum is really very good for long-term investment, because its price is secured not only by the Ethereum but projects which are based on it.
Ethereum devs are much better than most of high profile ones in the market. I still think it as good future investment and even retirement fund. Its underpriced. It should solve network problems anyways.

a good long term investment is not something that is bigger after a year. a good long term investment is something that goes up every month. for example if this month it is worth $10 then the next month it should be $11 and then next $12.
but in case of ETH for example the price is $10 then it is $9 then $8 ... $2 then it is pumped to $8 so everyone thinks it must be a good long term investment!!! and worst part is after $8 it starts the same drop again to $7, then $6 ...
(obviously the numbers are arbitrary)

But there is a lot of development with Ethereum. When Raiden update arrives this will solve many issues. I think it will allow 50,000 times more transactions. So this will address the speed question and network being clogged with ICOs.

Yes, I do think ether is worthy to invest for long-term. The enhancement of the infrastructure of ethereum keeps going, and more and more business are running on it. I will keep buying for sure.

Yes, there are a lot of people who think that Ethereum will be the basis for the next version of the internet.
Ethereum is at $300 per eth and could still increase in the future since it has no market cap. It is also us as a platform for many ICO's so chances are, if bitcoin were to reach a long slump, ethereum would take it's place as it is the 2nd most established coin.
