Define dead in your own definition? Ethereum is now climbing like any altcoins that start to make a bull run. I think other altcoins will follow the trend. Better buy before you get left behind or better hold if you already have it in your portfolio.

I don't think that Ethereum is dead or it will die. It's just a temporary price drop and many ICOs nowadays are ERC-20 based which means ethereum blockchain will still remain. So, this means that the Ethereum is still alive for more long time.

Ethereum will never be dead. So is Bitcoin, or any other crypto. As you should know, the life of these coins is the internet. The blockchain technology. as long as these foundations continue to live and continue to improve, so will Eth and any other crypto.
