If ethereum will die soon or that it is about dying, it would have fallen far below where it is now. So there is no cause for alarm. There is no reason whatsoever to worry, at least for now. Then whatever might be happening now, might be because some people are dumping. Just let them finish dumping, it will rise again.

Stop spreading FUD. I could say the same thing about the entire market which is also having a hard time during the bear market. Bitcoin, Litecoin, Monero, Ethereum, and all the other major coins have seen a decrease in market cap for pretty much the entire year, but that doesn't mean they'll dissapear, we've seen this cycle before, the major coins will eventually go back up while the shitcoins will be the ones that will dissapear from the market.

I don't think Ethereum will die. I believe that this is one of the most successful projects, and the great merit of Ethereum in the overall growth of the cryptocurrency market.

Nah, i don't believe ETH will die soon. ETH is the mother of any ERC20 tokens, and there is hundreds even thousand token that based on Ethereum blockchain. This is just another bear market, not only Ethereum that getting punch until this current price.

If whales send their ETH to the exchanges, then the question is - who is buying all these ETHs? My opinion is that whales, that is, people with big money, artificially lower the price of ETH on stock exchanges, and buy ETH on the off-exchange market. The same thing happens with other top coins. I find it funny to read such posts. Capitalization Ethereum decreases proportionally to other cryptocurrencies. Ethereum is on the 3rd place of the rating, what death are you talking about??
I generally agree that if we are talking about death here, it should regard the whole market, not only Ethereum. At the same time, thus coin lost more than some others. The total market capitalisation is by 8 times lower than ATH. Ethereum's is lower by more than 10 times. But I still believe that it is going to by okay someday. I don't know about ETH for investment. ETH is using for gas not only for investment.
When you think the price will up because many people buy eth for gas, that is true but nothing happens too much for the ecosystem.
Only a great investment is Bitcoin.

ethereum is just one example of a coin that has fallen in price because almost all have experienced the same thing, the decline in the price of crypto currency is inseparable from the effects of skyrocketing prices of these instruments in 2017.

Yes, capitalization is declining, but I am sure that 2019 will again give an impetus to attract capital to its market.All the prerequisites have already been created for this.In any case, few people are going to throw cryptocurrency.Few people talk about the death of cryptocurrencies.Only growth and only global recognition.That's what awaits cryptocurrency in the near future.

If value erode then nothing will die but the new investors will create and invest more & more. Bitcoin has also in it's evolution time had faced many challenges and even come down to mere $10 from the highest $1200 in 2011. And again it was revive and in 2017 grow highest ever $20,000 per Bitcoin. At that time Ethereum also crossed $3500. Everybody knows that if Ethereum will exist then all the token market remain intact because all the token has been created with the ETH blockchain. So, there are many tokens in the market which are covering top market cap and even in top20 coin. So, ETH won't die soon but to continue with bear and bull.

in my opinion this is only a downgrade in coinmarketcap not death from ethereum and I suggest you not to think negatively, if ethereum is ranked 500 coinmarketcap then you think negatively towards ethereum

Ether will not die because of this. But in the future, If new projects (ICOs) turn to other networks like Wanchain etc, then Ether may go down.

Ethereum will not die, you did a great job creating these statistics, but you had to look at the statistics not only for 2018 but also for 2016 and 2017, understand no currency can just keep going up, its price rollback is a natural course of the market, the more the descent the more the rise, Ethereum was the first altcoin and will be.

As far as I know Ethereum is the first platform that has created a smart contract. In addition, there are many who have been inspired by it, and helped by the technology they have. So I'm sure Ethereum won't die that easily, so that bad things don't happen we should continue to support them instead of harming them.

I don't understand why some people think that ooohhh this is the end of crypto or of a perticular project, the real situation is that this is affecting all crypto projects and I understand most of us might think, this is the end but I do think, that won't be the case as similar bear market have affected the crypto market in the past and we still had an ATH in 2017. Ether is not dying and crypto in general is not too though some projects might.

Ethereum won't crash. Just that some scamming project will eventually destroy the Eth if the team pays a deaf ear to this broad daylight robbery. Eth smart contract development is just to open for all. There should be standard. Anyway, all prices are falling now.
