Ethereum value will continue to climp up for sure for the next year but i think it is impossible to reach the $1000 mark because bitcoin is the most demand that as you can see the value trend in the market in which bitcoin has the highest percentage of price increase compare to ethreum therefore most will hoard bitcoin than ethereum but my speculated value for next year is $500 to $800 mark specially that ethereum platform is now the most popular used in ICO projects.

there is some info that I found, but either the info is correct or just a hoax only. that in the long term, the price of ethereum can penetrate 0.18 - 0.20 BTC / ETH. logically, quite plausibly, because now the highest price of ethereum ever touches 0.14 BTC / ETH.

I think it is quite difficult for ETH to reach that value for next year because judging of this year performance still it is relying to BTC that even how many or how much ETH that we keep still it will trade it to BTC for local paper money or fiat and as you can see BTC value trend is fast rising than ETH that for sure most investors will choose to keep BTC than ETH. Maybe if local exchanges all over the world will receive ETH directly for fiat then there is a big possibility for $1000 mark besides ETH platform is the most commonly used in ICO.

I think its very reasonable price in 2018. $1000 is first stage of etherium price next year.
Now etherium price is move rapidly higher and hope will be higher again.

I can already see that the future price of Ethereum will exceed 2 thousand dollars. But in order to be able to do this, the price fluctuation in Bitcoin has to be reduced first.

I certainly think that 2018 will be a major year for Ethereum. I think the price will probably exceed the 1K mark by next year considering that most new Tokenized projects are built on the Ethereum blockchain therefore making it by the far the most useful at the moment. I personally think that its undervalued at the moment but i see value increasing very high in the next year.

Ive read multiple sources stating eth at 2k, by COB of 2018. POS might prove to be higher. POS casper is still in beta, hopefully gains soon.

I think it is a big probability that ethereum will catch more than 1000$ in the future. But in my opinion, it is nearly impossible that it will catch that price at the beginning of 2018.

I have one theory here. We will be able to know the prices of ether or many of the alt coin if we come to know what is the status would be for BTC.

Because have you guys seen that how bitcoin prices are fluctuating the alt coins in the same direction. I mean this is really main scenario that we are missing here. All the coins are behaving in the same manner as that of bitcoin. If the BTC is going up then the Ether or any other top alts are going up. Thats very keen observation I have been doing and I would like to know your thoughts guys. So we can speculate ether being equal to 1K if the bitcoin is all upto 15K first or may be more.

We can't exactly expect the coming prices of Ethereum, but it will become more valuable and needed surely, then we can predict easily that its price is going to be higher in the nearest future. Almost all the ICOs projects use the Eth smart contract and the demand of this coin will be very high.

I do not believe that the price can get so high. But I want this to happen. Maybe in 2020 the price will reach $ 1000. But not in 2018

Ethereum is one of the few crypto currencies that do actually have a purpose and a reason. That's why I strongly believe that it has a bright future and will totally prosper. As it's not like a lot of other currencies that exist just for trading BUT it actually has a use. I'm of course talking about the amazing smart contract system that it introduced. It literally has so much to offer.

But the time hasn't come yet. In my opinion, it's totally undervalued right now and its price should be way more than it is. It's a great unique currency with low transaction fees and extremely quick network speed (talking about the time until a transaction gets confirmed) when compared with many rivals or potential competitors.

The price you see right now is nothing. It's just a reflection of the increase of the price of bitcoins. In fact, the price of ether right now is exactly the same as it was a month ago (except for a small pump that lasted few days.) You can check coinmarketcap.

I expect the true surging in price to happen after the switch to PoS as this would slow down the continues selling by the miners.

I've heard and read it could go way up to $1000 by January 2018 but it was just rumors and speculations and there are not proof or anything yet of the rumored price increase but I really do hope it could go up to that amount though.

Nah, you underestimate the power of BTC and ETH, we have not seen the best mega pump yet so behold for something amazing!

Btw they can make a fall, but they always recovered and when they recover they always recovered stronger than they were before the fall.
