I would not loss my patience on ETH as I know it's a good coin with a huge potential.
What we are witnessing now is just part of the journey of ETH but we've seen it pump and grow in the past, therefore we should not loss our trust on ETH.
If this gave us profit in the past and we are still here holding it, I'm pretty sure one day it will again reward the long term holders.

Here is an updated chart of Ethereum from October to today, in which we see clearly the rise from mid-December onwards, but we also note that the price has already clashed 3 times with the very strong resistance in the area 170-180 $

To break that, not only the strength of Ethereum is enough, but the entire market with obviously Bitcoin in the head must show clear and unequivocal signs of recovery.

it's because of the trend created by bitcoin that made the market go up and Etheruem followed it. it's good, but it would be great if etheruem made its own improvements that came from their own markets. we can see the volume increases if there is an investment in etheruem with large funds, surely it will pump etheruem prices to be very expensive.

Ethereum is in better position than the last months, and it will be even better as the market improves. Yes, maybe it increased a little more, but it is still not as good as we want.

I don't know about price, since I think it will take years for this to recover for ETH, but their fundamentals have definitely become very strong and are much more improved than this time last year. It made even guys like me put some investments into ETH (and I can never forgive the devs), so even though we went in at $400 it's still not a terrible stage to be at for us. The scalability progress, the continued discussions, and Vitalik making more sense. It's all good, we'll get there.

Years to recover? I doubt. Eth has already recovered quite strongly just in the past 2 months. And it's probably on the positive movement side now rather than taking another dip. The market in general seems a bit healthier and eth is moving along with it.

When there will be a market recovery and a new season of Ico / Ieo / Sto then Ethereum will be hungry again; this, combined with the reasons for the deflation I described above, will give Eth a strong boost, bringing it back to attacking the first place in Bitcoin in the CmC ranking.
