Certainly it will that is after btc must have gotten above $10000 and remain relatively stable. So far btc is is taking the lead and doing higher that the altcoins, time will come when it will be the turn of altcoins to join the bull. I hope their will be a repeat of the 2017 event of the crypto space, it would be a very interesting one.
I think it needs a big boost for any coin including ethereum to be able to raise the highest price again, both public support and adoption from its users. but I do not doubt the potential of this altcoin because ethereum has great potential in terms of investment.
The market has done some major things. I am very optimistic about Ethereum, I believe ETH is the future, but BTC is the here and now. I am expecting more bullish movement if the trend line doesn't get broken.
I do not why etherium has refused to make a significant move as Bitcoin is on the run, has expected it should have crossed above $350 at current btc rate, I think it is best to hold btc for now than eth until we are certain of its bull movement

You forget about the fact that many investors bought Ethereum when it reached its maximum value of $ 1,500, as well as when it cost 1,200 and 1,000, and so on. Until now, Ethereum was unable to get close to those values.
Ethereum is still dependent to the bitcoin price so as long as the bitcoin price will continue to move upward then ethereum will surely follow.

No doubt, the ETH will soon explode and its price will soon return at $ 400. There are some news saying that ETH will release version 2.0 at the beginning of Q1 of 2020 and I cannot be more excited.

I am sure that ethereum is a success because it is a very strong platform that will definitely succeed. Ethereum is the leader among the bitcoins that draw all the other coins.
