the future of eth is very good compared to the other crypto. but to get past the bitcoin, I think it's still very difficult. because bitcoin is the first crypto so popular.

I still doubt it for the next few years. however bitcoin has enough fans. and options in crypto investment
but I believe in the future of eth. eth is always more likely than other altcoins
ETH with the current tech specs will keep on growing in 2018, but as soon as it forks to Casper leaving the obsolete PoW and embracing the mighty PoS, then it will really take off.
BTC will keep it's dominance for a few years more but it will eventually be dethroned unless it dramatically changes, solving all the issues it now has like slow transactions and high fees.

Ethereum taking over Bitcoin I don't concur with this and this is because I don't see it happening in the next few years to come. I can only see Ethereum taking side with Bitcoin and this means both will be almost proportionate and this not even matter of this year but more years to come.
You trolls are lucky cause bitcoin still has uses, now think about when bitcoin has no use anymore, just like the old and decrypt then it will die. Recent events confirm that everything is very strange, and every day, in my opinion, it becomes a little scary. We must understand that the entire cryptocurrency market depends on bitcoin. If bitcoin fails, then all fall down. ETH will always be second after bitcoin.

I am a solid fan of both ethereum and bitcoin but i dont think that ethereum has a chance to overtake bitcoin as the number 1 cryptocurrency or for being the best cryptocurrency, both ethereum and bitcoin is totally good and improving so for me we dont need to compare bitcoin and ethereum. 
Not it's not. I think it's impossible because of obviously reasons. Bitcoin capitalization is too strong, price was dump because of bitcoincash some time ago, but now bitcoin is going stronger and stronger every day.

Both ETH and BTC is slow and steady gain each day. Ethereum might be a potentials alternative coins but nothing can compare with bitcoin. The mother of all coins, uncomparable, unbeatable and been surpases all the dips. Ethereum will always be behind bitcoin in my own opinion.

I think this is impossible. BTC is a big monument, it is difficult to overcome it. But I also appreciate the ETH, it will stand in position 2 behind the BTC.
