I agree with you, that ethereum will overtake bitcoin. because now the ethereum is stronger than bitcoin, so I believe ethereum has a great chance to overtake bitcoin, so if you want to invest i sugest you to invest in ethereum.

For me no one can predict the price of these two because their price gets high and low everyday bitcoin turn into huge price but gets low and ethereum gets high price but it gets low again for that case no one knows who can overtake each other.
It's hard to say ETH will overtake Bitcoin, Bitcoin has bee known and used all over the world. ETH will follow as well, but it will not be as good as Bitcoin
I think it's impossible because the world's first bitcoin currency and to take over it is very difficult because bitcoin has a lot of devotees and users therefore Ethereum would be hard to take over but for its potential and popularity it might be able to beat bitcoin

The biggest issue is that Ethereum will most likely face the same scalability problem as Bitcoin faced already. Bitcoin dev community is trying to solve it with Lightning technology at the moment and Eth will also need to find a solution.

etherium is one of the best altcoins , but I don't think it will be able to bypass bitcoin in the near future ....maybe in 5-10 years , but not before
