It's true eth is on the way of pumping continuously the success,not wasting the time for it but still bitcoin will remain on top as long as investors and future investors best choice is bitcoin. This is an actual reason that makes harder eth to defeat bitcoin on this small period of time but who knows after 3 years.

I agree with this. It will be very hard to take over bitcoin. I think if the gv comes out with their own it might be able to because it will be more mainstream and FOMO about this whole space will happen. Ethereum is hyped and overbought because this ICO year. Everyone wants it at a low price because it averages the price of the ICO lower. But both ICO and ETH are off the charts so I don't know where it will go.
I do not think any Altcoin will ever reach Bitcoin price, but however they will go up. ETH will grow day to day and will go up as well, but it needs time.

You must not have been around for the Flippening...it almost happened last year during the super ICO craze...its also when transactions ground to a halt. I think money poured into BTC to prop it up amd then ETH deflated under it own weight.
Could it happen...sure, but I believe new blood with take the top spot this year.

Maybe the Ethereum will overtake the bitcoin,there's a chance but there are no assurance if it is true. And can we know why you think so or do just want us to take decisions that could be life changing on your word alone? ETH is not a bad project but bitcoin is specifically designed to be a currency and now that they are changing to POS I 'm not sure ETH is going to be the currency of the future.
It also really depends on how to define "overtake". Considering Ethereum + it's ERC20 counterparts already account for a majority of the market cap in general, so at which point do you consider overtaken?
Well! this heading reek of baseless optimism! Ethereum has been quite stable and valuable to those idea ans sme trying to raise fund in cryptocurrency. There is no need to condemn any coin, all the coin can work together for cryptocurrency adoption!
I don't think Ethereum will overtake Bitcoin any time soon. Not in market cap value and certainly not in price for single coin.
Why overtake? Bitcoin is slow and ethereum is the same way.
