I don't think so, ETH isn't really focused on being a payment method like Bitcoin is, I think ETH will co exist next to a coin used for payments.

After this month, I believe bitcoin will continue to rise and will continue dominating and might rise all the way up to $40k by the end of this year. I don't think that Ethereum or Ripple or any other coin can ever challenge bitcoin.
I like ETH and have been working with this altcoin for few years and I' sure that it could not be able to overtake BTC at all, but its stability and differences from BTC make ETH my fav.
ETH is the next coin after BTC. BTC is the our pioneer so it could not be overtaken. ETHS has a lot of pluses but BTC is too hard and strong to allow ETH to win.
