Exactly! I don't think Ether was ever wort a thousand dollars. It was a great coin (and has become a better coin and platform). Even convinced people originally against Ether like myself to get into it but no way is it worth 1000, not at that time.

And as well, when it IS worth 1000, we will probably see it jump even higher, that's how speculative bubbles work.

2017 is a very good year for ETH because at that time it reached the highest price, for some reason in mid-2018 ETH prices dropped dramatically and of course this is very sad for ETH token holders. I hope that in 2019/2020 ETH will return to the highest price.

I'm all for crypto and the growth and adoption of ETH. However, ETH at $1000++ really sounds like a pipe dream right now.

Despite ETH having good fundamentals and great adoption, there is no easy way for it to break through all the sell walls right now. ETH going to $1000+ would mean the whole crypto market would have to rise and reach heights like December 2017. Far from happening, but a man can dream.

it's still possible for ethereum price to hit $1000 again if the market in bullish mode. i know it's hard to reach what happened in 2017 but its still possible to repeat like what happened on 2017. maybe on the next 2-3 years we will see it. $500 in the end of the year and continue to $1000 on the next year.

ETH is currently at 168$ and can rise easily till 500% in quick time if btc gives a push again and we witness it rises till 7-8k in coming time then even ETH will climb and move upwards quickly and we will witness the rise of the coins as well.

Ethereum can get a cost of $ 1000 even if Bitcoin cannot reach $ 20k. I'm not a fan of Ethereum but appreciate it, and it can get a price of $ 1000 when Bitcoin hits $ 20k. I believe in Ethereum, and I think it only takes six months for it to reach a cost of $ 1000 before the end of 2019 quickly.

I would not be surprised if Ethereum hits $1000 this year though, seeing how it's been performing these past weeks, who knows, another bull-run trigger may be on the horizon, however, what matters the most isn't a bull-run, or Eth=$1000, but more adoption and mainstream usage of these cryptos. As much as I personally would love Ethereum at a new ATH, I would also prefer to see the PoS thingy working and a lot of scalable features functioning optimally.
