Electroneum once it will be launched will have to recover from this bad position it got from the delay of the launch. This is where Richard can prove himself as beeing the marketing expert se hays he is. I have all my confidence in him and his team and the best intentions of them.
I see this project as a long therm investment and for sure once it will launch the price will go to the ground and below. But once the marketing team steps in the token will moon. 1$ price is not unreacheble for them.

Like Electroneum with cryptocurrencies!
Mining a dollar worth of coins per day on your smartphone might not seem like a lot to first world country residents, but to third world countries this is gold!! It's like a universal basic income! In some countries, this could even cover the monthly cost of having a phone.
Think of the massive amounts of business ideas that will see the light when people in third world countries have a phone that is all paid for... Others who could not afford a phone would be able to get one, because their monthly ETN mining counts will be enough to pay for the phone plus data.

all it means is a bunch of plebs invested in small amounts. when they can get 10-15k+ coins for $100 usd and everybody is spouting nonsense like 100x by end of the year they all imagine they are going to get rich.
The success of any currency lies in the amount of users it has. If only one tenth of the shops in the US accepted dollars, no one would want it...
So the fact that there are thousands of small investors is definitely a good thing. More people = more "word-of-mouth" marketing = more demand = an increase in the coin value.
The fact that anyone will be able to miner a few coins per day with their smartphone will bring thousands upon thousands of new users to the platform, all looking for places to spend their ETN coins.

I would say it has lived up to its hype. It raised 40 Million, and the mobile mining app will come with an optional game, that will come not too long after the launch.
There are only two decimal points for ETN and those units will be called eCents, like in BTC they have 8 units past the decimal point called Satoshi. Only having 2 points instead of 8 is because the changed total coins to 21 Billion instead of 21 Million, which just makes ETN transactions more like whole numbers. Fake registered and fake investors, anything is possible these days using bots.
I'm excited and have been anticipating the launch. A lot of bugs and issues for now but let's give it a few days to stabilize.
It achieved all that through manipulative advertising, I was seeing it on facebook.

10x the price of ICO is 400 Million of capitalisation - even though a very successful project might well achieve that, I doubt this would happen overnight. First you have to go through the phase of the early inverstors who bought cheap cashing out.
Actually ETN Is a great project and i read the whitepaper it's very convincing and interesting for me, i bet this coin will be big in future.

These guys have marketing down and this interests me. They have a lot of money to push their mining sim app (or whatever you wan't to call it). Their technical approach was not good but thankfully they got someone expierienced onboard and forked Monero and introduced transaction fees. It's all a bit late in the day though so expect chaos on release and then a big pump when exchanges open.
I'm interesting in this in the medium and long term though. Who knows? It will be great to watch though.
