CR7 was nos spectacular in the national by any means, but he was good enough. I had some type of feeling that France will not succeed that's why I wrote in my yesterday's post after placing bet that chances are equal and performance and luck will be important. France didn't had some strong team in front to reach into final except Germany this made them relaxed. They took this match easy but their own strategy didn't work in their favor. Portugal had to become champion for first time so it was helped by nature.

I thought Germany would be champion and Portugal would be finalist but after France eliminated Germany I was supporting Portugal because of Quaresma factor like every Beşiktaş supporter do. I'm very glad that Quaresma won double championship this year. He's the best player of the world, living legend, idol of Cristiano Ronaldo.

Needless to say, Portugal seemed as if they were underdogs but I can say that they played their hearts out especially during the second half. They didn't seem to click in the first half that is why France dominated but the blues did not have an idea on how to pass the ball through the Portuguese goalkeeper who was outstanding in his job. Anyway, congrats to Portugal although I wanted France to win.
