Thanks Matt, Meta and Chris. Very impressive execution!

Thank you, Woody, very kind. Like always Smiley

Some general "whats next":

Given this project has been driven by having a plan,
but not being shy, to catch opportunities and quickly adapt (in case of community consensus),
we established the tradition, to publish regular upgrades of our roadmap and also from time to time rewrite it entirely.

While trying to write an upgrade, today, I realized: "O.K. there changed a lot"
So i am writing a new one. Also, if i am telling our history (to update new users), the document is getting
(as did the last one) fragmented and difficult to understand. Nobody new, has a chance to wrap his mind around the huge amount of stuff.

Therefore i decided to split our Roadmap in two different Papers and will also clean up our Mission statement:
Our regular reporting will then have three documents, instead of two, that will be, as always, updated in a rotating cycle

1)  The Roadmap:
A "whats at stake", providing a clean representation of
next actions and where these actions are supposed to lead to (short time goals)

2) (NEW) The Summary Report:
a historic "what has happend" how did we get here, what have we learned

3) Mission Statement:
the cause and long-term goals of Europecoin and in witch way, the Roadmap is related to these goals.

Its important, that we are getting better and better in explaining our work, to give users a glimpse,
what's our Goal and a chance to see a line in all those actions, that are going on.

Projects with a holistic approach are very quickly looking just random for new users.
I am beginning with the Roadmap, planning, to release it tomorrow, because i want to use the fresh attention,
to educate as many users as possible about us.

Have fun
Matthias Grin

Think with your brain. It is not illegal (yet).
Oh, well... What if I will tell you that you can compile most alts on those machines under ROKOS? The most common dependencies are already installed. Give it a try. It's free Wink
The donations are only for the fine tuning and maintenance of the respective wallets for ROKOS, but ROKOS itself is a fine tuned Debian for "restricted" (hardware-wise) ARM devices.
ERC is included in ROKOS Flavors. Matthias should ask OKtoshi to work on v3 for ROKOS now, that the ERCv3 is in full swing.

Being myself a Mineum shareholder, I started talking to them about a 'EuropeCoin Box' (RaspberryPI/Touchscreen, pre-loaded with your QT).
What you think? We could become partners later.

Recent post, extract:
Also, the development and sales of our custom mining rigs and other retail sales of a variety of incredible products
and services in the MINEUM market place will enable us to keep our corporation hedged in directions other than just mining.

That's ROKOS Flavors Smiley

Hi Chris and Matthias,

Like I said in my post I am not concerned about the honesty in the dev team and I that is why I said lost with double quotes. Smiley

And I am also not asking for individuals (be it one of the devs or the community members) to sign their personal wallets.

My concern is just the SWAP address and eventually the exchanges addresses since they usually contain a lot of coins which can scare people out.

Nuno

No worry, this is also, how i understood you , the rest of my answer have been just random thoughts and
wasn't directly related to your question or intented of educating you or somebody else. Grin Everything fine ...

B.t.w. isn't Bittrex looking nice? The fact, its still keeping up in that way since a week now, is a VERY good sign.
A pump or a single buyer would look quite different. I counted about way over 40000$ on capital inflow for now.
Future is bright

have even more fun

Should old wallet get stuck to block 994660? My wallet was previously opened 27.5., did I lose 2 months of staking? (2 months or so..)
Try adding these

Code:

worth mentioning that creating a brand new address isn't a requirement for making a term deposit. Saw earlier that someone asked about "special address" for deposits, and I'd like to clarify that the address itself has no special properties on the blockchain, it is just an address like all others. Term deposits can be made for any valid ERCv3 address and addresses can contain a mix of term deposit and normal transactions.

Fuzzbawls, pm me an addy, to get u rewarded for this good input.

I decided to follow this topic as ERC has integrated systems/code that I wrote or contributed to from HODL, and there is bound to be similar confusions regarding term deposits and the like.

Cool, in my opinion one of the brightest pieces of code this year.
I am sure it will have a great impact for altcoins and will get a very popular approach.
Do you like our variant? Our distribution model is quite different.
You should have a conversation with Chris, he did the programming, i am sure you both are able to exchange some know-how.
How about Europecoins,? do you have some? I can send you some, if I can have a wallet number from you.

By the way
: have you had a look into our little side project "Federated Blockchains"?
We are just about to get some funding, to support developers and we are about to organize the Teams:

Hi Mattias/dev team,

I have a suggestion for you.

Would it be possible for
to sign anything, he may not like to sign. So its more a Freedom issue than a privacy issue.
My guess is that its the wallet containing the remaining ERC for the swap, that he is concerned about. Without double checking its most likely still the largest wallet by far.

exactly, you nailed it. The Coins for the swap are on the largest wallet of ERC v3
and the wallet with the already swapped coins (to burn them after swap is finished) is the largest one on ERC v2

you will find both Blockexplorers (v2 and V3) on our homepage http://www.europecoin.eu.org

Hi Steve,

I understand, it is a fair statement that it is not the spirit of crypto to have names public. But still, I believe that "claiming" the Swap coins address, and the Exchanges address wouldn't harm anybody.

But going to the public page....

Initial ERC3 coins for swap = 9604959 (A1)
Remaining ERC3 coins for swap (25/7) = 4608782 (A2)

Differential = 4996177 ERC3 coins spent (A3 = A1 - A2)

However, only 46551255 ERC1 (coins seem to have been burnt, which would relate to ~4655125 ERC3 (A4).

So, does this means that we already have "lost" 341052 ERC3 coins (A3 - A4) in the swap process.

I am confident that the coins didn't just disappear and there is a justification for this, but a text file is very easy to make calculation mistakes, which in turn this leads to suspicions and lack of trust.

Thanks

Hello,

your "lost" coins are the coin from week3.

nope, the old chain is still alive, you may download the blockchain at cryptochainers.com.
Then replace your chain and delete the peers.dat, because you are likely on a fork

Hi Mattias/dev team,

I have a suggestion for you.

Would it be possible for you to sign the addresses which are reserved for the swap on the blockexplorer?

Right now the coins distribution looks quite bad for someone wanting to get in.

If we could mark the swap wallet, and the exchanges as well it would be a good indicator (I hope) that the coins are spread among the community and not just on a couple of whales.

It is true that if you are a whale and you don't want anyone to know about it, you just do some shuffling around and it goes away but still...

Tks
I, as a maintainer have no problem to sign my coins, despite the fact, of course,
I did not "get" the coins from anything like an ico, but bought my coins in the same way like any other user did.
i can sign my coins, if you like  Grin

However crypto is only in the second place about anonymity. The main driver of this movement is FREEDOM.
So though, i haven't any problem with signing (because i can freely choose to do so) i would strongly oppose, to require anybody else
to sign anything, he may not like to sign. So its more a Freedom issue than a privacy issue.
My guess is that its the wallet containing the remaining ERC for the swap, that he is concerned about. Without double checking its most likely still the largest wallet by far.

Just a question. I was thinking about buying a Kindle Fire (see link) since a while.
Should work, right? I ask because, it would be even better for me rather than a
Raspberry. You know, I am going to leave france soon. I need some mobility.

https://www.amazon.fr/Tablette-Fire-%C3%A9cran-Wi-Fi-Noir/dp/B00ZDWLEEG/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1469604382&sr=8-1&keywords=kindle+fire#tech

I don't think so in the short term. Though MOBILE (android, html5) is next on our agenda, these wallets will not necessary have the full feature-set of the core wallet.
Though we will try, i can't promise. A raspberry PI is able to run a full node core client, and its build in , ready to go. In terms of mobility, i recommend to have both.
Kindle is good for everything on a daily base and the PI is nearly a full PC in a pocket, much better for running some cryptos.
You should google some Raspberry shops, there are plenty of cheap little modules to make it mobile, like akku packs and touch screens an nerdy things like that

have fun
Matthias
