Removed peers.dat

And started the wallet.

The wallet seems busy for 30 minutes now, but no new blocks added.

Do we need sync from scratch with this version ?

i just looked into your posts history, to get into this conversation (missed some entry point) and i realized,
that you mainly posted here and i essentially ignored some important posts from you. Sorry for that and thank you for the great engagement, don't know why you slipped under my radar, strange
Is you question about ROKOS three weeks ago still to answer, or did you find out yourself? I am currently syncing my first ROKOS device and it looks like it works (will finish tonight)
Anyway ....

yes its empty, given i like their style and metamorphin loves them even more and they are nice people (as far as i can see in their policys)
i have the hope, they may grow one day. If not we also could help them to get this going, they need marketing, and that's where i can help quite easily.

In terms of "do we need exchanges" in general, some more thoughts:
about adding ERC i normaly feel like: "No, except they are in China. "
But to be honest i am not that sure anymore.Until recently, i had the idea, more exchanges could spread and flatten our volume, needed to stay on Bittrex.
But looking at some coins around, i am getting unsure, because more exchanges also mean more adoption and the volume-problem would possibly solve itself.
What is your idea on that? (Maybe everybody could share his thoughts, its an important topic)

Yes thank you and there is light,
Alberto PM'ed me he isn't at home and will return tonight
and he promised to compile our new wallet then.

so i am fine with that perspective.
The new wallet uses a new kind of hardcoding the validation of the old blocks,
they are validated as the happened and are in the chain anyway.
That makes it impossible to stuck on blocks in the past until today and will hook you all
up to the current state of the network.
And after that, the outcomes of the long solved bug are gone.
We also made some tweaks to the checkpoint funktion, to prevent the "checkpoint fail" problem.
And because we worked ourself through plenty of code, i am knowing much more about my coin now
and we improved the performance too. I can hardly wait for launch.

Not worrying mate it`s ok i have the faith in dev team

don't worry help is on its way, there is a new major version in the queue,
It has a hardcoded verification for all blocks till today we worked the last three days fulltime on this,
using a parrallel branch. Its done since two days and we finished our tests successfully.
i am just waiting for the freaking compile and it drives me mad waiting

i think raspi stake solutions are for the do it yourself dudes

if u want a easy powersaving solution go for a cheap windows 10 tablet with 2 gb ram
i run one i bought for 88€

and this will work together with ur easy windows installer as long as u keep it 32bit wallets

a windows tab have lot more to offer

it include a screen
it can run any windows 32 bit software
it have 2 gb ram
it have a battery and is this way a mobile wallet (even if i use mine just static at home as staking device)

i think raspi and such alike devices need to offer something that give the word IoT value

for now they just cheap linux PC
and cheap windows tablets for lazy ass dudes like me still beat them
