Just wondering if anyone is having the same HW error rate as I am when using bluefury with bfgminer 3.5.1?

Over 5 hours hashing now and I have noticed an increase in HW errors. In comparison with ASICMiner, I have 0.9% of HW errors and with bluefury I am getting between 3.7% and 5.3%. Quite high in comparison with the ASICMiner BE USB and blade!

PXY 0 is my overclocked ASICMiner blade and BES are the ASICMiner USB BE's.

Units received and hashing happily (no need for tracking nr anymore Wink )

Had some problem with a 7 port dlink hub, so running straight from the pc atm.

Mine co-exist no problem.

Are you using the same devices as I am?

I have them already installed and hashing.

I have made a couple of observations:

1) I am using D-Link 7 hub USB ports and only manage to detect 2 at a time although I can fit 4. Max amp rated of USB hub is 3Amp and each stick "should" draw 500mA.

2) They can't co-exist with ASICMiner USB block erupters within the same hub; they need to be isolated on a different hub.

During a 50 minute period of having a cluster f*ck of FPGA's and ASIC's running in harmony with a Pi running debian Wheezy, the blue fury's is at the moment hashing between 2.0GH/s and 2.2GH/s.

Can I use BitMinter to run this device, or do I have to use bfgminer?

The latest beta is supposed to support them but I tried and it didn't work  Sad

OK, so I picked up my Blue Fury from the Post Office this morning, but I'm having difficulty installing it. Can some kind person give me a link to the best drivers for Windows 7, mining with BitMinter.

I didn't need any drivers on Windows 8.1 or on OSX.

On Windows 8.1 I just did the usual WinUSB bullshit and fired up cgminer 3.8.1 and away it went.  Running 2x BlueFuzzies and a lonely Block Erupter off the same Anker hub and same cgminer instance.

On OSX I used bfgminer 3.5.1 and it worked straight off.

download bfgminer 3.5.1 that's what im using now. with the latest cgminer. the miners were underperforming
and I was getting some zombie state for one of the miners. and another miner was stuck at 550mhz

testing out bfgminer now

I had to upgrade bfgminer to 3.5.1 to get mine to work on Windows 7.

edit: and for some reason the drivers folder is encrypted. So you need to go in to explorer, right click the folder, properties, advanced and deselect that.

Yes, it was the encrypted files that were the problem. I had wondered why they showed up in green in Explorer. Thanks

These little things do work well - I'm down to the two Blades, two BlueFuzzies and a lonely Block Erupter. Cheesy  And 10GH-20GH on cex.io depending on Referrals.

Think I've got about 50GH mining now on a good day.  Grin

I've been looking at my returns over the weekend.

The BlueFury must be one of the most efficient devices currently on sale. It's a shame its also expensive.

BlueFury    1.09 Watts/Gh       £39.01/Gh (av over 8 sticks)

RedFury    1.09 Watts/Gh       £32.13/Gh  (av over 8 sticks)

Chili          5.83 Watts/Gh       £16.02/Gh

Erupter      7.61 Watts/Gh       £35.82/Gh (todays price)

@Jamievs @jn77 @bitbar your tracking codes have been resent manually.

It seems my mass mailer, had quite a few bounce backs, not sure why. If you didn't receive your tracking number, and want it, please drop me a PM Smiley
