Thinking I might just sell mine, with difficulty as it is, I'm not sure it's even worth plugging them in...
let me know if you go that way - how many do you have coming to you?
Thanks

OutCast3k any details of when my 2x units will be refunded you advised me to wait a little longer I have waited over a week now since they where sold  plus you had coins sent from a new buyer. So I don't get what the delay is. I have already confirmed with you to keep the remaining 3 for me and ship them when ready and to process my 1.7BTC I have asked kindly in pms when you will send but you have not responded to my pm.

Are these units in transit at this time ?  that's what I would like to know :-)

They've been a bit vague on that. 300 were shipped on Friday, but they didn't say how many to each GB. The rest are being shipped on Tuesday (Monday is a public holiday in NZ).

As Pre-Orders go, the delay wasn't that bad - would be nice if I can play with them by the end of next week (fingers crossed).

Yeah I agree. I think 0.05 probably makes up for what they would have mined in the delay. Let's hope they are not literally "shipping" them and are using something with wings and jet engines.  Wink

All units are sent express via planes.

Morning

Compensation has been decided. We will be compensating everyone 0.05BTC because of the delays.

These delays have been out of our hands and they have caused us a lot of issues and grief. We are sorry for the issues caused.

better than nothing  Grin and a reasonable customer service gesture compared to some ASIC manufacturers

(sadly some extra inconvenience for OC3)

Cynical viewpoint - 5.8% compensation on BTC that has increased 60% in value since september....

Did you get a tracking number confirming shipping on Friday!? And do you know how many units were shipped for this group buy?

I'll see what I can sort out at the weekend. Smiley

Very pleased with how things are going - BFGMiner on OpenWRT is solid as a rock, and the TPLink I chose is cool running and fast (TL-WDR3600).  It has a 4-port Gigabit switch built in, too, so I was able to get rid of the 8-port switch under the desk.  Another 5W saved. Cheesy

I was using a TPLink 703N, but it has a tiny flash memory, which means running most of OpenWRT off a USB stick, which isn't terribly reliable - if the hub blips or something, the little micro-router suddenly loses half it's OS and has a fit.  The 3600 has plenty of RAM and flash to run BFGMiner with a bit of space left for other stuff.

Can't wait.  Grin
Just ditched the linux box for mining - now running off OpenWRT on a TPLink router.  Less than 1W from the wall, got to love it. Smiley
Got my whole mining rig down to less than 300W now (a feat considering the two Blades and 11 Block Erupters).  Everything running off a Corsair CX750 PSU, including the hubs and the router.  Wink  Pulling just under 30GH at the moment, hopefully 35GH once the Blues arrive.
You should start a new thread and detail what you did with the OpenWRT on a TPLink router.
Low power at the wall is the next step in Bitcoin.

+1 for a thread about low power

Sell the blades(2) and buy some more Blues(8 ). That would save you another 140w.
Then with a rig of 160w you could go solar.

Got a 5kW PV array on the roof, so everything is solar pretty much (though this weather it's only going about 2kW most days). Wink

But, yeah, the way prices are going I'm buying GH off cex.io - I might well sell the Blades soon, 1GH is about BTC0.09 there at the moment.

Also got my home server running off a little Asus EeePC - it'll use about 25W full load (Celeron 847 with 256GB SSD) and the two 4TB drives are in a USB3 enclosure which uses 15W with both drives spinning.
