    Player 1DiCe1 deposited 2.6 BTC.
Player 1DiCe1 won ~141 BTC and causing site profit to go down from +95 BTC to -46 BTC.
Player 1DiCe1 automatic withdrawal of 6 BTC and manual withdrawal of 50 BTC (total of 56 BTC).

23 May 2014

    Player 1DiCe1 deposited 6 BTC.
    Player 1DiCe1 won ~51 BTC.

If he won 141 and only withdrew 56 on the 22nd, why did he redeposit on the 23rd?

I wonder if this list of events is missing something.  People with a balance of 87 BTC generally don't deposit another 6 before continuing to play.

That's very odd that 4747 hasn't been in touch - there's 50BTC at stake and you'd have thought he'd be desperate to get his money, assuming he won it legitimately.

Dear Players and Investors,

First of all we are sorry for the inconvenience. Currently EveryDice is down for maintenance and security check due to recent case. Please be patient while we are working hard to solve this issue as fair as possible.

To avoid misunderstanding, up until now we do not make any statement that our site seed and server has been breached or accusing a player is cheating, it is a possibility but we are still under internal investigation. Please do not make assumption and getting provoked by other users. Our most priority at the moment is to protect database and access to our server, then after everything is settled, we will set the site up with enabled withdrawal but disabled roll.

Regards,
Ed

Of course I'm massively biased here, but it seems if there was a glitch, and there is no way of knowing if 1DiCe exploited it or not, with such huge winnings and somewhat unusual variance (see: almost impossible winnings) then refunding the investors does seem to be the only fair option - as long as 1DiCe gets all of the money he invested into the site too, assuming there is no real way of proving what happened.

The variance is unusual but not really that statistically improbable. I can't see why refunding the investors and reversing 1Dice1's winnings is fair.

And... It's gone. Site went offline. Yes, I lost quite a bit, and withdrew my coins. My intuition tells me something's up that's why I folded... and I usually don't back of an investment..

I think the fairest way is to rollback (if its possible since massive withdrawals) bets and return most of funds to investors (80-90%).
Other funds send to 1Dice1.

Since its not proven we must believe 1Dice1 not used xploit - and we should send winnings to him.
But some of investors lost a lot and too much luck here...

If(?!) investors do get refunded, if there is still no way for sure of proving whether or not there was anything dodgy going on, I'll happily give 1DiCe the benefit of the doubt and 10% of any BTC I get back (will be close to 1.5BTC)

I think everyone is missing the point here. Doog as well, 1Dice1 does not care about any of what you write here, all he want's is his money and nothing else, he got screwed and you guys should help him.

I don't think anyone is suggesting that 1dice1 shouldn't be paid his winnings. Do you think I enjoyed sending nakowa his 10,000 BTC payout after he had an amazing run of luck?  I didn't, but what choice did I have?  But how can we help him?  ED has his coins and is delaying paying them out.

Seems no one get's bigger point, people will lose trust into all sites if ED runs away and doesn't pay and this includes JD as well.

I don't think yet another little just-dice clone site going down because of crappy coding or scammy operators would really surprise anyone. It has happened before and surely it will happen again.

If anything, each time one of these small sites fails it serves to show people not to trust places with no reputation and to stay with the established sites that have a history of reliability, trustworthiness and good customer support.

You guys seem to be blind.

The site's profit is now -180 BTC, and counting (negatively).

Apart from the question of whether a site operator should pay out "gamblers" if they made use of a bug unknown to others - especially when this almost purely involves third parties' (investors') money, ED is clearly not running with the money at this moment. I (successfully, without any resistance) withdrew my investment and then my balance since I found the ongoing losses too statistically improbable (haven't actually calculated). Do you understand ED's business model? They're not making money on gamblers' losses (investors are) but on all bets. This 1Dice1 account balance (and possibly the balances of other accounts that made highly improbable gains) is made up of investors' money, not ED's money.

If 1Dice1 is paid out and it turns out there is evidence that he gamed the system in ways he shouldn't have, and ED doesn't have the money to pay its investors who effectively paid 1Dice1, will you be happy? What about if 1Dice1 is one of the founders of ED who went rogue?

Clearly this issue stains ED's reputation, and I think the amount of time this is taking is somewhat outlandish, but you cannot argue 1Dice1 should simply be paid just like that, without further ado.
