In my experience no one can learn any lessons from gambling because we do forget the lessons to use while gambling and moreover in my opinion, every day is a new day in gambling.
There are wise gamblers who are using those lessons helpful and for an example of an experience would be, if a gambler tend to lose in the long run for several times and it happened again for the next day. Would think that will not teach him a lesson to stop for that day? Of course it will teach him that it is not helping if he will continue.
