The Nine Most Innovative Crypto Artists of 2020
In 2020, crypto art based around non-fungible tokens has exploded. We've spoken to nine crypto artists working at the bleeding edge of NFTs.

Try to imagine the prospects of this market in 10 years..

did you check sorare.com, or NBA top-shot, they are both platforms for sport NFT's with strong growth last year, and Sorare platform has some amazing sales, like Unique Mbappe for 111+ ETH and similar
basically, Sorare is selling playing collectible cards, that can be used in their fantasy football competitions, with rewards in ETH and new cards two times a week (mid-week and weekend rounds)
NBA top shot is still in beta, but already selling top moments from NBA history and current season and lately had 25+k USD sale for one Legendary moment

there is a lot of upside potential for NFT's, but there is also a lot of useless NFT's that flooded the market, and probably will have no use in the future, but also some with value that will go up, but the market is already heated, and one should be careful with prices
To say the truth, no. But we should separate pictures and cards. The market is growing rapidly and there will be more services over time.

The most expensive NTF token is the one that the crypto community knows about. It is enough to promote the picture on Twitter Smiley

Founder Cat #18 Last sold for 253 ETH
https://opensea.io/assets/0x06012c8cf97bead5deae237070f9587f8e7a266d/18

Last sold for 246 ETH
https://opensea.io/assets/0x06012c8cf97bead5deae237070f9587f8e7a266d/1

See how many tokens are constantly being sold
https://wax.io/blog/round-up-wax-is-the-king-of-nfts-heres-why

This was surprising to me, so indeed crypto has entered the world of art, I think some expensive NFTs have their own uses such as mining, game, or crypto-related.

You are quite right about NFT being very promising and might be the next direction for the development of most cryptocurrencies. NFT idea is a good and unique one but over time, it seems to be lagging behind maybe because there are yet to be a team willing to bring in good strategies that will turn things around or people are yet to understand its concept. Also, I think the NFT started picking up this year with the advent of DeFi because I noticed that most team are now working on it, hence the reason why most people believes that NFT will most likely be the next trend in the crypto space since Defi trend is already slowing down. However, just like DeFi projects and the ones before it, once the hype gets over to NFT it is important to invest wisely.
But its a bit complex traditional traders and are not tech savvy will likely to ignore it but the market is there and its getting big, it was known back 2016 but up until now too few knows about it even after the cryptokitties creation and many forks follows still it is being overshadowed by an erc20 easy to deploy token and not so many wallet support NFT.

NFT token. I think that as a hot spot, there are still some conditions. NFT tokens are more biased towards practical applications. Unlike DIFI, which prefers finance, I think there is still a certain distance between the use of NFT tokens. 5G communication, information input. Still have to develop.

I was expecting NFTs tokens to really gain momentum with the DEFI hype but it seems people are still figuring them out, there are still some work to be done to make market penetration. When I saw the way MANA token pumped hard in 2019, my though then was that this is going to push the NFT niche market to a new height but things has cooled down recently
It is because people don't have knowledge of what they are and how they can explore them. It could have been better if the defi hype continue because that could make people to have more interest in it but since the DeFi seem to be another fail attempt to breakout due to high transaction fee as many of them are based on ethereum block chain. Unless there is a new revolution with another land breaking event that make people realized how important this NFT token are, it might not be explore. Project such as kingswap that also support NFT and has its NFT tokens might also make them more popular if they attain success

Hello World!
I am really curious why there are no further discussions on the forum about NFTs or Crypto art, they seem to be the ICOs of the next bull run or maybe not, i really dont know Smiley, actually the NFT market is pumped already, in October it had a huge run, now it seems more stable.

I have been collecting NFTs ever since Enjin was launched but, sadly there are not enough good marketplaces for NFTs (IMO). Opensea is good but selling NFT there takes a long time because of the low volume. Enjin marketplace is alright but, because of ETH the transaction price is huge.

So far, I didn't use RARI.
Volume will probably change as NFT are getting traction and getting more popular. Some stay that it is the next defi.

Yea volume will have to increase like a lot if NFT wants to be the next DeFi of crypto. I think marketplaces are working on upgrades too, I logged into opensea tonight and, they have changed a lot since I last visited them.

marketplace ? so this toks can be sold because at first i thought they arent like any other toks that can be sold because the op said they are fungible and tbh i didnt knew the meaning of this but sounds like tangible which means cant be eaten , lmfao .

calling them next defi is unlikely because they said this was existed long time ago or when the time where enjin project created . i remember enjin and others before but their fame didnt last long  . the next defi is something that is new or havent produced yet till now .

For example Trust Wallet supports NFT, with MEW wallet you need to do few clicks/steps to make them appear in your token list.
Hello, I bought pgfk during their sale and used my mew address. After paying of I received it on my wallet and can see it under etherscan as erc721.  I didnt do any steps just to make it visible. Maybe they already supported it. Cause I also checked on trustwallet my imported mew wallet and clickef the collectible and viewed there as well the nft I bought.

Seems no need to do some steps at all. Maybe if the bought ndt on marketplace like opensea or rarible, needes some step but on my case didnt do any complicated measures.

Strange that no one so far mentioned, that not every Ethereum wallet supports NFT tokens.

For example Trust Wallet supports NFT, with MEW wallet you need to do few clicks/steps to make them appear in your token list. But, Atomic Wallet does not support ERC1155 NFT, they support only ERC20 tokens at the moment.

I do get the idea and attraction of some NFTs but for me, these digital NFTs seem so terribly easy to make that I would think they should not be worth as much as they are now. I mean,,, make anything and some people paint and design to make NFTs pretty but if you think about it, anything is rare, but if you can make 1 million rare NFTs, what is the point? Can someone make me understand?

They are yes, easy to make, but if someone will create a very good NFT concept like crypto kitties, then they are sure that the NFT will have a very good value. It is the same in physical world, people could always make an art but those artists who have built their reputation and have very good talent and skills already could sell their art in millions.

But what differs there is that these artwork can remain forever since its running on the ethereum blockchain. The disadvantage is, they couldn't have the physical item.

Moneybags are not predictable. Do you  remember those CryptoKitties stories ( now two years old) when some instances of digital cats were sold for more than $100K? It proves  all those "1 million rare NFTs" can be sold eventually. I don't say for $100K each but if each item sold for at least $1 someone who minted them will get $1 M into his pocket, money from the air, I would say.  Sometimes I play games on steam and get digital items  as the reward. They are not really NFT because they are not rare, but even those identical items can be sold,  because there is  a demand  on steam market.

NFT's will definitely bloom
Especially in the ingame items market

Unlike the current traditional in-game items market
where the items can simply goes missing and can't be traced
Blockchain NFT's can definitely provide more transparency where your item don't just go missing or etc

I can not understand How to deal with NFT. For every step Eth deduct heavily fee which is not affordable. DEGO should made it simple , it should be like other buying and selling Dashboard where buyers sellers are available.
Understand that the ecosystem is still very young and NFTs is just starting to gain traction, in a very years from now when the technology must have been fully adopted, and the ethereum blockchain upgraded to handle more transactions per second, NFT transaction fees will cost less and also, there will always be buyers ready to pay for your NFTs assets... It's a growing market and it's growing really fast.
