I would actually be pretty impressed if he managed to organize a shill army of 80 people. Must be paying well to keep them all quiet.
edit: looks like the 80 is the amount of people in the sig campaign.
He says:

So I assume that's the # of shills. (or maybe he just wanted a part of his shill army dedicated to asking for proof)

If they agree to do it we won't need much cash, as they are taking just 0.5 BTC/a month for this (each). It's not a full time job for them they are posting for maybe 2 h a day at the moment.
Wow, so he's not even paying them much at all.
2hr per day is ~40 hrs per month (not working on weekends). 0.5btc was worth ~$180 in November, so they were getting paid ~$4.5/hr.
Unbelievable that some people would sell their soul and dignity (and commit a federal crime) for half minimum wage.
