Anyone can share gtx1080ti OC settings for better Sol/W ?

How did you see the power and sol per watt details?

Guys, I just started and I got about 330 sol/s with my overclocked Asus 1060 that was overclocked on factory aswell.
Now its 2100MHz/4100MHz, Temp. 60C with 46% fans.
Its gonna be okay with rates like that?
Performance as stock 1080. I'm just worried.

Just don't let the Magic Smoke out! Wink
It is really hard to get back in.

Just started and getting about 240 Sol/s on:

  • GeForce GTX 970 with 4GB
  • Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit
  • 8GB RAM
  • Intel i5-4690K @ 3.5GHz

Performance:

GPU-Z status:

Lots to learn about this still, but managed to get going on the https://zec.suprnova.cc Asian pool. Let's see how we do.

I'm using Jaxx for my ZCash wallet - any other suggestions?

EDIT: Not sure how to get my image to display as a picture and not a URL.

If you could lower your gpu temp, you could get over 300 Sol/s.
He could not. GTX 1060 do around 300, and GTX970 is slower. GTX1060 is like GTX980.

Of course he can. My GTX 970 G1 Gaming does 310-320 Sol's with a stable OC.

What are your settings ?

Mine does 280 sol/s with those settings :

GPU Core Clock : 1480 Mhz
GPU Memory Clock : 1502 Mhz
VDCC : 1.2060 V

I can't overclock RAM, I don't know why...

255/260W at the wall.

970 can do that but power efficiency is not the same as 1060

Yep, mine takes 210 watts according to the miner  Tongue

I read before about 1060 as mining tool and its gets around 280 sol/s at highest clock.
Actually dont know why I got so good result.
And if it overclock to 2183+MHz the card going to protection like turn off monitor and setting default clocks.
So I'am worried about using card like 24/7 at so high clock.
Should not forget that the actual clock speed for 1060 is 1506MHz

It's great. Everything above 300 is great. Your temps are great too. What is the ambient?

I searched as best as I could but couldn't find an answer and maybe that's because there currently isn't one.  I have 2 1080ti's mining zcash through ewbf's (great job by the way dev!) but because this is my main rig I can't stand the slowdown for standard windows activities and browsing.  Is there a way to set the intensity on one of my cards lower so that I can use my computer as normal for light tasks?

Thanks.

(I did manage to switch focus input display in nvidia control panel and that seems to have helped a lot.  I would still be curious to know if anyone has more information about this though)

Use Excavator on gpu connected to monitor. It has the option to use only one thread.

@sublimus
Thanks for this piece of work!
I have just read the last 30 pages or so. This is the best thing!

:restart
Timeout /t 30
miner --server eu1-zcash.flypool.org --user t1cA38xyUxJRDdQYacD6x7UUL8nyjTfKeo1.GigaGamer --pass x --port 3333 --eexit 3 --solver 0 --log 2 --logfile ZCASH.%date:~6,4%%date:~3,2%%date:~0,2%.ewbf.log --fee 2 --pec
ping 127.0.0.1 > nul
goto :restart

I do not understand this
ZCASH.%date:~6,4%%date:~3,2%%date:~0,2%.ewbf.log

and
ping 127.0.0.1 > nul

I have just ordered a MSI GeForce GTX 1070. This will be my first rig with an nividia card. I am tempted to just order 5 more, but a little testing won't hurt. Wink

TIA

Actually this is from another user.
The % part appends the date to the log filename.
the ping 127.0.0.1 > nul
part is what is testing if your .bat file is responding. It sends a ping every second or so.

Dear EWBF,

is it possible to make dual mining ZEC + something?

With the ability to choose pair and % distributed between them.
Zec: 99.5%
Zcl : 0.5 %  Grin

Would be nice to mine some Eth.

Would be nice. But it is better to mine ETH with AMD.

Sure AMD Gpu's perform better mining Eth and my first rig was all AMDs. My bad experience with those buggy cards made me switch over
to Nvidia. I prefer less profitability and more peace of mind. I still have a day job and I dont want to fear that my house is burning down
while at work.
