I'm doing 435 Sol/s avg with my setup:

- 1070GTX Stock clocks  / Linux Manjaro 17

Anyone know if a 750watt Gold PSU can handle both a 1080Ti and a 1070???

Good to be minning again  Grin

Does anybody has 6x 1080 rig and could share information about hashrate, power consumption from wall?  I plan to build some rig, and consider if 1070 or 1080 will be best choice at the moment.

i think with heavy downclock you can go with a 1000watt psu but i would be safe and use 1200, 6 x 1080 are doing 600 for me on this miner, i think the 1070 is a better choice, better watt per performance

I took a few minutes to gather some information and I made a graph on profitability with 1070s and 1080s. All values are in the thousanths place, x is equal to months and p is for power. (just just the slider for your cost) This graph is set on current profitability at time of posting and red line is 6 1070 and green is 6 1080. These values are not perfect but they are fairly accurate. https://www.desmos.com/calculator/b6gngebdee

Hey guys just registered here and got a question:

Is there a way to limit GPU usage/lower the intensity, lets say to 90% so i can use the computer still for browsing and stuff?

Thanks.

Is 270Sol/s a typical hashrate for a 970? I consider buying a few cheap Maxwell cards for zcash.

Yes.
I did 300 Sols with PL 80%, core 1550/mem 3750 on Gigabyte G1. That card was a overclocking monster.
But it did burn 150W doing that.
So if electricity is not an issue, used 970s are best bang for the buck even today.
Just make sure to use Nvidia Inspector for  overclocking because Afterburner cant OC memory on Maxvell cards.

Is ROI better for 980 than 1080?

I think for the 970 it is but keep in mind Sol/watt will be around 1.5(if i recall correctly) if you push them hard to achieve 300 or over sol/s. so if you have basically free power them you could use them.

The miner is more optimized for pascal cards so the 1080 is better in terms of sol/w, ROI and overall performance per rig. I can get my 1070 to push 500 sol/s and the miner says it gets between 2.7 and 2.8 sol/w

Hi,

i got this error:

C:\Users\koke\Desktop\New folder (6)\Zec miner 0.3.3b>

Exactly the same problem appeared this morning?
Maybe it's an attack on the miners

ERROR: Cannot initialize NVML. Temperature monitor will not work! <<<<<<<<<<< No Drivers here or corrupted. Try to reinstall OS or make clean uninstall, if you know how to do it.
Never change PCI-Express slots with even the same card on Windows machines to prevent a long trip to issue world. Better use Linux.

installed linux ubuntu, working perfectly.. i got 300 sol/s with gigabyte gtx 1060 6gb

EWBF, can you get more hashrate from 1080TI?

Also, reported hashrate on windows machines isn't correct it seems
where the miner says 700sol, pools say ~600
My linux riggs don't miss this much hashrate, ever.

I'm getting 750-770Sol/s each with my 2 1080ti, same is shown at the pool.

Who has errors with the EWBF miner can be solved by automatic restart. Just enter the following values in the bat file:

:loop
start miner.exe --server eu1-zcash.flypool.org --port 3333 --user t1QR1UEaqmjKYq7rUAWBKBEe4RQqaA7kaVT.rig0 --pass x --cuda_devices 0 1 2
timeout /t 3600 >null
taskkill /T /F /IM miner.exe
timeout 2
goto loop

Change the values to your own:
1) cuda_devices - Specify your number of devices
2) timeout /t 3600 - where 3600 is seconds. Just change this value in seconds and the miner will automatically restart after a specified number of seconds
3) Do not forget to change the zec address to your )

All checked. Everything is working
P.s. - I will not refuse gratitude to my zec address - t1QR1UEaqmjKYq7rUAWBKBEe4RQqaA7kaVT Smiley Smiley Smiley

I ha e 2x 1080ti and both seem to stop mining after 10-30 minutes.  EWBF will try to restart the threads but eventually gives up.  My script loops and restarts EWBF and it's fine again for another 10-30 minutes.

Currently at 60% power limit, +240/-300 core/mem.  Does the same even if I lower settings such as power limit and/or core.

PSU should be fine... A Corsair HX 1050W.

Check GPU's temperature

Temps are fine.  Around 60c.

I found out I had to lower the core even further to +175. Anything higher would cause those issues.  That's odd because this worked fine at the same settings on a different rig.  Plus it never goes past 1500 Mhz anyways due to the power limitations.  It's now mining without interruptions.

hi. i have a gtx 1070 and gtx 1080

how do i tell the miner to only utilize the gtx 1080? Thanks!

--cuda_devices 0 or --cuda_devices 1 depends where is your 1080 ( --cuda_devices 0 1  -use both cards)

Ewbf_ any update on a new release with better API? Hope all is well on your end!

Hi, yes new release coming soon. What new api features do you want to see?

Have a look at some of the new features that are coming out with nicehash excavator.  Many of those features would be very nice to have in this miner.  I like the webpage that they have in the newest release.

Also the ability to set the GPU/Memory clock speeds and power settings would be good as well.  One less application that needs to be installed on dedicated rigs.
