Hello fellow miners!

Currently I am running a mining rig with ewbf's 0.3.3b evga gtx 1070.
Each card does about 450-460 and to be honest the fan noise is not that loud and they only get about 60°C, so I am pretty happy with that.
(All in stock setting + ofc I boosted the fan speed.)

I am considering about getting a gtx 1080 ti because it would give more hash rate per pci-e slot.

But I am not sure about what hash rate can they actually get with ewbf's 0.3.3b miner and how about the power consumption, heat and noise?

Does anyone here have experience with one of below 1080 cards?

1) Evga GeForce GTX 1080 Ti Founders Edition

2) Msi GeForce GTX 1080 Ti Founders Edition

3) Evga GeForce GTX 1080 Ti SC2 GAMING

Any feedback would be greatly appreciated!

Best regards

even after changing the password.

Which supernova server are you trying to mine to?

zec-eu.suprnova.cc
zec-us.suprnova.cc
zec-cn.suprnova.cc
zec-apac.suprnova.cc

All port 2142

might be worth trying port 2143 as well as its supposed to be for Nicehash.

same error. it dosen't matter which .bat file I use all of them give the same error.

and i only want that the suprnova work. As i've said before , i don't have an antivirus or a anti-malware installled.

and i've tested with the windows firewall off and with the ports open on the router and modem.

i'm starting to think that has something to do with the windows 10 pro Creators edition .

Anyone using a miner with this version of windows ? anyone with any idea ?

Windows 10 has some weird problems with IP Stack after Creators update, which occur randomly and definetly connects with Windows Guard app.

To fix:

1) Run -> gpedit.msc
2) Administrative Templates -> Windows Components
3) Antivirus Program "Windows Defender" -> Turn off antivirus program "Windows Defender" policy -> Enable

This fixed problem for me, give it a try.

P.S: Real speed on gtx1060 3g is 310-315, similar to EWBF, but miner is unstable as hell, and djeZo reminded me abouit licensing, so I'll rewrite kernel from scratch to get rid of licensing issues and be fair.

I have a Galax 1070 and have started mining. Currently mining at 450Sol/s but would like to get this up a bit. Could someone please share their afterburner settings and speeds Smiley

Have 2 Gigabyte G1 and 2 KFA running around 470 sols/s. I have power at 85%, temp at 75c, core at +167 and mem at +594. If I boosted the fan speed I could squeeze a bit more out.

You're extremely wrong. Do a bit of research before you throw out an opinion you have no clue about.

I think you need to create a new topic for your miner  Wink

I really should, but it's more like a hobby project and won't be updated on regular basis, and you know how newbie acc's are treated as virus/trojan-makers.

Removing the stuff, sorry  Cry

P.S: KL0nLutiy, please, remove the link form your quote

I played with v3 briefly on my 2 x 1080ti rig and it was really fast (930+ hash/s per card) but seemed to crash a bit much Sad
I'm sure the community would love it if you started your own post Cheesy

What is your speed at the pool? For me the speed @pool is about 50% of the hashrate shown in the miner Sad Mining hush with 1080 on yimp.

I started using this miner for some ZCL on a GTX 1080 Ti tonight and the results are a bit better then using Nicehash's ZEC miner. I'm getting about 2% higher sols on average with the same clocks etc on the GPU. Smiley

I've started this a couple days ago when the difficulty of zec goes up cause it pretty much mins nothing when it does... how do you convert zcl to btc though - I use changelly to convert zec but they don't do the other one

I would use Bittrexx to exchange ZCL to BTC myself.

I was checking the miner when the PC wasn't being used for other things at the same time (overnight for example) and the improvements over NiceHash rise to a good 5% increase with this miner in that scenario. Pretty please with it so far.

Thanks for that... Never really understood how exchanges worked before cause changelly was simple to use, will look into bittrex now

i'm having a problem here. I don't know if it's because i'm using the latest driver from Nvidia
or if is because i'm using the latest version of windows 10, Windows 10 pro creators edition.

it's showing this error:
i've tested all the miners you can think . the only one working right now is the eqm_V1.0.4cWin64

can someone please help me ?

obs: Yes i've checked my .bat file they're ok with the pools , and yes i did open the ports in the modem and router and shutdown the windows firewall and any windows antivirus.
and any antivirus at all.

I really don't know what to do.

Can you post your .bat file contents?

Yeah sure. here:

hint: pass

what do you mean ?

He means that a normal supernova password looks more like this

Code:
miner.exe --server zec.suprnova.cc --user suprnova.1 --pass x --port 2142
