Goal of this fork is:
test completely different set of equihash parameters in the wild, chosen parameters: N=192, K=7
these parameters should target generally available hardware for mining
learn from it

All these parameters are improved by this change:
higher time complexity
about 16 times*
higher memory requirements

faster block verifications
4x
smaller solutions
400 bytes instead of 1344 bytes are inserted in every block

How were these parameters chosen:
abandoning idea of mining on mobile devices
making it hard enought to postpone the risk of ASICs
memory requirements target regular desktop PCs and graphic cards with at least 8GB of RAM

Coin distribution changes:
no founders reward
no premine
no slow start
no halvening
stable supply of coins
minimizing violent mining strategies
removes stressful event that heavily impacts miners and market price
no coin cap
small inflation (smaller and smaller over time)
lowers the early adopter advantage
steady reward for miners can result in lower fees in future
at least some compensation for forever lost coins
1 block per 2 minutes on average
10 coins per block

Distribution:
7200 coins/day (the same rate as BTC and Zcash before the first halvening)

im getting a max of 720 sol/s per card on a strix 1080 ti oc

power: 80%
gpu: +105 (for some reason i can't go past this)

temps stable at 54-57 degC

I have 4 rigs with absolutely same setup (1 gold psu with reserve 40%+ per rig).

OS smos, NV1070, OC: Core+125, Memory 0, PowerLimit 99w, TargetTemp 69c.

One rig from time to time (1 hour to 10 hours) reboots with theese:

Does anyone know the meaning of this error?

You can try to use your gpus one by one to see maybe it is only a specific gpu the reason of the problem

Hi, I have short question.
My farm on Win10x64 of 1070x5 freezes when I use Zcash miner 0.3.4b. I tried even without overclocking.
It is either the whole system hangs or Miner gives respond that GPU stopped.

Before I used Clymore 10 for Etherium with overclocking and no such thing happened. 

Maybe someone already met this trouble and know what to do?

Are you all using Zcash4win to transfer money?  I just need to see, and understand how this sends actual money to an account.. And what account it goes to?

I recently mine ZCash with 6x 1070, I only get 420 sol per GPU.
I use EWBF miner and flypool.

I saw people are getting 440 sol at least, how would it be possible?

My current setting:
Power: 80%
Clock: +150
Memory: +300 (seems no impact for memory, I tried +700 also no increment on sol rate).
I am running at Windows 10 with latest NVIDIA driver.

Note: I was getting 31mh/s at ETH.
 
Any recommended step to fix? Like change driver to certain version?

After a bit of playing with it yesterday, my Aorus 1080ti is now pushing 780-790 sols/s with Afterburner set to Core +150, Memory +100 (which proved to be VERY picky, higher DROPPED hashrate for some reason as did lower), and TDP at 100% (250 watts).

 Dropping TDP to 80% (200 watts) and no other changes still netted well over 700.


 If I'm doing other stuff on the machine, it drops to 160-170 watts (per Nvidia-SMI or per EWBF itself) and 640 sol/s more or less.

Sorry for that, but I finally understood what is the problem.
It is in apiUrl. It should be - "http://192.168.1.10:42000/getstat".
 '/getstat' is important now. I will fix it in a new version.

I have a rig with 2 evga geforce gtx 1080 ti ftw3 and 1 geforce gtx 1070 g1 rev 1 and I am getting at least  760 for each 1080 and 466 for the 1070, I am working with this parameters in the bat file: miner --server zec-eu1.nanopool.org --user wallet --pass z --port 6666 --solver 0, OC parameters, in the gpu 0(1080ti) :60 gpu 500 mem, in gpu 1(1080ti): 85 gpu 500 men, in gpu 2(1070): 99 gpu 600 men.... No other modification...  In th gpu 0 I cant set higher that 60 because when the value is higher this gpu doesnt work correct and get less than 250 sols. I hope it helps
