I also did not face any problems when entering the site, although I do not play at your site and only checked it with a vpn connection.
the speed is also fine when navigating to the elements.

Exbet Service announcement:

The My Bets feature on Exbet is currently not displaying all bet information correctly. This is due to a backend issue that we are working to correct. Users should be assured that all transaction and bet data is secure and that betting is not affected. A notice is displaying on the website to update all Exbet users on the situation.

Apologies for any inconvenience.

What do you guys think? What is the best, most punchy strapline for Exbet?
Might be a bit misleading, because although it's a bit different than your normal sportsbook, this is not and shouldn't be only for pros. Even betting exchanges, which normally attract the more advanced punters, need a whole lot of newbies, losers, semi-pros, fun and recreational punters, because the sharks don't want to play only against themselves of course Wink

Very good point. It could actually be off-putting for some users, whereas we think that all bettors would be better of educating themselves in some of the basic maths/dynamics of sports betting, which is part and parcel of using an exchange. Not to mention better value (often) and more ways to have fun with your betting - back, lay, trade, etc.

"Winners welcome" is nice, but not sure, if Betfair will be happy with that Grin I would maybe keep it as neutral, interesting and inviting as possible, something like "Sports Betting Platform". And maybe with smaller font beneath "Be Your Own Bookmaker" to cover the "interesting" part.

We think we've seen "Winners welcome" used by Pinny recently? Long time since Betfair used it.

"Sports Betting Platform" made us laugh.. very prosaic. Perhaps we should take a lead from the new Borat film and use "Platform of Exchange for Betting on Events of a Sporting Nature with Very Nice Decentralized Currency"  Grin

How long is this site online?

All I see is empty markets.

I really need a betting exchange but this does not seem worth the time.

Hey scammed-by-nitro

Exbet launched two weeks ago, so still building liquidity.

There is pretty reasonable action in pre-match markets. But in-play markets are empty... we guess that's what you're referring to? It's a big focus for us to encourage liquidity growth here but it will take some time.

We're working hard to make Exbet the betting exchange you (and so many others) need.

I think you do not need a bonus or something, since you can gain enough advantage because of the peer 2 peer betting. If you play it well, then you can make some good money with it.
The more customers, the more liquidity will come into the game. If they stick to main markets, more people will fill the liquidity automatically. The condition must be that the site will run smooth of course.

Hey peeps, we need help!

We just rolled out a very nice splash page for when new users visit exbet.io.

However, we are not at all sure that the strapline "Sports betting for Pros" is the best way to introduce Exbet.

What do you guys think? What is the best, most punchy strapline for Exbet?

what about "come and give arco all your money" lol

seriously tho what about the classic betfair line "winners welcome"

Do you mean is this compatible with mobile or special version for mobile?

We mean that Exbet website is fully responsive, so works perfect in mobile browser.
(.. but there is currently no Exbet app for Android or iPhone)

Try it and see - just go to exbet.io on your mobile Wink

I know that Betfair has been using a special program for a long time to make trading and betting easier. Thought that was called Betangel.
It is a very complex system to make that, but that could be the next step. Very complicated by the way.

Hello coin.princess

Yes, BetAngel is a third party trading tool for Betfair, and there are others e.g. Geeks Toy. You're right, they are complex tools with many different (more or less) automated trading options.

To build an Exbet version of these trading tools is one option. Another option would be for existing tools (like BetAngel and Geeks Toy) to integrate with Exbet. This is not something that happens overnight, but for this kind of integration we need the Exbet API to be fit for purpose, which is one of the reasons that we are extending the Exbet API, as stated above.

Now, after a few weeks the site is live, we are all very curious how it is going. Did you face any difficulties or is everything going smooth so far?

Hey deadthings

Good question, it's actually 2 weeks today that we launched.

Technically, we are very pleased with how Exbet is running from a technical point of view. On the first weekend we had a few hours of downtime on withdrawals and deposits but no problems since then. Otherwise, nothing to report, which feels good Smiley

We are currently working to extend the Exbet API (for market makers and traders) and have a couple of initiatives to bring more stability as traffic starts to scale in the coming months.

Tomorrow we have our first UI release since launch, with some minor bug fixes, a splash page for new visitors, and some tweaks to the UI. Users will not see any interruption of the Exbet service.

November will see more soccer leagues added, and likely we will build out the markets offered as pre-match liquidity seems decent already. In-play liquidity, as we have mentioned before, is a big focus in cooperation with market makers, but will take time to grow.

Let us know if there are other questions!

We all appreciate it that you are honest about the requirements and conditions. That is a big plus for me.

The site is very transparent and honest about the KYC and does not hide any information about this. If sites tell me there is no KYC, I do not believe them anymore.

That is why I like their attitude here on the forum.

I agree with this. It should be for every player clear what the sites requires. I also think it is very good what they did with blocking countries that are not allowed to participate.
That is how all sites should work.

Thanks guys, we try to keep it honest and simple.
