We all appreciate it that you are honest about the requirements and conditions. That is a big plus for me.

The site is very transparent and honest about the KYC and does not hide any information about this. If sites tell me there is no KYC, I do not believe them anymore.

That is why I like their attitude here on the forum.

I agree with this. It should be for every player clear what the sites requires. I also think it is very good what they did with blocking countries that are not allowed to participate.
That is how all sites should work.

I can only access the site with a VPN, but I do not want to burn my fingers with registering with it since then I provide fake details or is there any other way I can use this service if I live in a country that is not allowed? I respect the rules of your site of course but like to give it a try

hi kkaroul4

Thanks for your question, and sorry we missed it yesterday. We were watching too much NFL  Smiley

Exbet has restrictions on users from certain territories, and requires users to be honest in their declarations.

Exbet T&Cs are very clear on these points, and we prefer to link to those as a single source of truth:
https://exbet.io/terms-and-conditions

Section 2 of the T&Cs is relevant to the declarations you make as a user when opening/using an account on Exbet. Section 3 is relevant to the question of territorial restrictions. Please read carefully and let us know if you have specific questions.

Best Regards
The Exbet Team

You made the right decision clarifying your stance before investing here. Many gamblers forget this and simply invest and complain later regarding the KYC restrictions which has become a common issue among many crypto gambling sites these days.

Op should reply to your concern here pretty soon. You can also contact their customer care on their site if you have any further doubts.

The liquidity is not very high, but at least it is a good start. I am sure that if people are satisfied and happy with the service, more and more customers will come.
Maybe it is also an option to add more markets in each game. It is good to see that there is at least some small liquidity.

Yes, more markets will be added in the coming months, but we do not want to dilute liquidity across too many markets right now. But we understand users want to see more markets.

I also think it is important to make sure there are enough customers with decent volume in the main markets, you can always expand it later. how is the project going so far?

Hi cutesgirl!

We are pleased with the response since launching 10 days ago. Sign-ups and interest have been strong and the website has been running very smoothly. One thing that has been great is to get feedback from running 100%. We have run a beta with play money and a soft launch with real BTC, and got great feedback then. But now we are live, we are really hearing what is important to users, which is super important to us.

Our two big areas of focus are (1) continuing to improve our API (2) bringing in in-play liquidity. And actually (2) is highly dependent on (1).

I also do not remember any other decent cryptocurrency betting exchanges. And this one seems legit, since they obtained for an official license.
It would be amazing if they can compete with sites like Betfair. May take some time, but time is what we have in life. And gaining trust from customers is also very important.

Hi nasipadang, welcome to the thread!

Yes, getting a license takes time, investment, and commitment. We hope that is a sign of the seriousness of the Exbet project and team.

Betfair may not be worried... yet  Wink

Exbet are currently not in a favorable position when it comes down to liquidity when compared to Fairlay, but they are just starting and I am expecting them to improve in this aspect as they attract more gamblers over time since this exchange has a lot of potential.

Sure, Exbet launched 10 days ago, so there is a long way to go Smiley

But we think the prices and volumes are already pretty good Pre-match, especially in the bigger leagues like EPL.

For example, the 1x2 for Arsenal v Leicester this evening is pretty competitive, with a 101% book:

Maybe it will not be a problem if there are lots of players.

Exactly. Betting exchanges are strictly dependent on the number of gamblers on the platform, much like classic currency exchanges depend on users. You can't sell something if there are no interested buyers and vice versa.

Not necessarily the *number* of gamblers, but the volume and liquidity on the platform. But your basic point holds, Stalker22 - without money coming in from other users, there is no action on an exchange.

But looking at how this platform develops, it seems that the exbet team put so much resources already on this gambling platform as they had soft launch where they involved some community members to spot potential issues or bugs in their system. This is not created overnight and based on my impression, they are pretty much serious in developing their own niche in the gambling community as they are quite different from the usual sportsbooks that we have here.

But I do agree, getting gamblers will be their initial challenge here. Maybe run competitions or promotional activities to attract players here.

"This is not created overnight.." - exactly.

Building liquidity on Exbet will be a slow & steady process for the most part.

Many gamblers who are geo-blocked by FIAT bookmakers have no idea about crypto exchanges like Fairlay and Exbet which could change as they gain more knowledge about cryptocurrencies.

It's a niche in regards to crypto, but you already have fiat betting exchanges and they are no niche Wink Loads of people like to gamble there, but they are geo-blocked for a lot or them. The biggest betting exchange in the world is creating turnover even the biggest bookmakers in the world can only dream of. And the revenue is risk-free for them because of the commission model they are using.

The big advantage of exchanges is the trading aspect, which also creates the majority of turnover. You can go back and forth with your bets (mostly inplay), hedge your bets easily, create profit positions for all possible outcomes etc. and just pay 1% commission on your net profit.

However, if you check the daily total wagers you'll see that it not competitive other esport betting site that dont off 1% commission to every winning.
If 1% commission is charged in every winning, what did they do to every bet loss as giving back to their users cause gambling site like Duelbits offers reward base on game played and referrals, roobet offer claim etc.
The big difference that everyone here are failing to observe is the fact that Exbet is a crypto betting exchange and doesn't function like a normal sportsbook. Fairlay is the only other alternative in this area currently.

You cannot lay bets in a traditional sportsbook. Duelbits, Roobet etc are great as sportsbooks, but comparing them to Exbet isn't correct of you ask me.

This is probably the biggest misconception around crypto betting exchanges. Most users have no real idea how this type of betting actually works and compare them to classic bookmakers.

I agree with that, I am also new to this betting-type.
I guess I need to read and understand their "How To Bet" section.
But their difference from regular sportsbook that caught my attention is that bet vs. house is not available.
So what I am seeing here as potential bottleneck is that you need to wait for other players to place their bet.
Maybe it will not be a problem if there are lots of players.

With that been said, i still don't consider the 1% commission on winning bets as something right.
I really don't see why so many people here are finding issues with the 1% commission structure. Betfair, Matchbook etc charge way higher commission in comparison, but gamblers still play there for a multitude of reasons.

Sites like Fairlay etc do charge lower commission, but they don't have a license and their UI is far more complicated to use in comparison.

Exbet is still in its initial stages people and the liquidity will obviously be low which is why it will take time for it to shine. However, a signature campaign etc would help them rise in popularity at a much faster pace.
I actually dont have problem with the 1% commission but I'm asking questions as a gambler which need to know the concept of the sport booker I want to use and I dont see that as a sin. However, if you check the daily total wagers you'll see that it not competitive other esport betting site that dont off 1% commission to every winning.

Duelbits does not have a sportsbook, they only have a casino.
