ok, i'm experience a strange bug or something, don't know how to call it, when at launch of the miner, some gpu don't run, it happen randomly, other time it go right and all gpu begin to hash

btw can you add solo mining? only stratum is supported currently

pascal speed is now almost same as opencl sgminer implementation ~1% difference

would be nice if it would be possible to have a full range of freq/voltage control as the afterburner freq/volt graph where you can select and lock desired GPU (not the arbitary adjuster from base clock but fixed frequency) freq/voltage but its kinda hard to do it on rig with 5 cards

I guess its kinda impossible to find documentation to access freq/voltage curve and set fixed value as Nvidia wants to make use stupid boost which is not best for mining as its hard to lower voltage while the frequency jump up/down

It is not possible to set fixed freq, boost is handled by NVIDIA driver/hardware. You can only set delta freq (+/-). Currently, we have fixed this range, but in future versions we will read what each card supports. For now, majority of cards should work OK.

Forgot to mention; for pascal/sha256t, play with params to get better speed. Defaults may not be the best for your card.

I know but the how afterburner can edit freq/vol curve and set/force specific frequency (when its set and locked with key "L" frequency stay all the time same, also voltage is locked at desired level you set it)
I know this future is not documented in any NV docs, but afterburner author got it from NV prolly, as he is kinda "their" man that do all OC tools we see

I use Afterburner regulary and haven't found this feature. Mind explaining how to do it?

Regarding overclocking; there is one more feature that's going to be added and that is setting fan speed. Combined with existing features of overclocking core, memory and setting TDP, there is all that 95% of miners need. We will not give option to set voltage (we could, but modifying voltage is one step closer to voiding warranties, or damaging components).

is -ca -ca exactly like running -cd 0 0 1 1 etc...?

Yes, at start of miner, you can detect which threads - devices have been initialized. -ca -ca will not order them nicely though.

sha256t is OK, only pascal have room for speedup, opencl miner is ~10% faster on NV but it use CPU a lot (opencl usual NV problem)

Which one? Numbers? Card?

GTX1070

pascal
sgminer give 1050Mhs (-I 24  -w 1024), excaviator (-ca -ca) same settings ~960Mhs

only problem with sgminer on celeron it can not run more the 2x 1070 due high CPU usage

Any news for improvement with sha256t ? .

Why do you need improvement? sha256t is already the fastest of all available miners.

Inform nanopool to fix their implementation of equihash stratum protocol. Nothing we can do about it.

Guys,

You can also mine Pascal Lite with this miner.

Pascal Lite is a fork of pascalcoin with improvements on network and coin immersion. The networks sits at 250GHS on peak and 70GHS atm.

For more Info you can check its ANN at

ANN:       https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/annpasl-pascal-lite-the-future-is-almost-here-1773026
Explorer
: https://pascallite.com/
Pool:       https://pasl.fairpool.xyz/
Pool automatically distributes an account to miner when you reached 12.5 PASL

Its on cue to be listed on https://www.cryptopia.co.nz/. The devs are currently working it out. If you missed the first one, this might be your second chance. Mine while hashrate is low.

Cheers.

There will be Linux version at some point, but current version is just alpha and will be only Windows for now.

any sourcecode? ...

ill get a linux version sorted ...

#crysx

Everyone could, but Miner is close-sourced. Sad

Open source miners are always used on botnets and as a result, heavily tagged by antiviruses. We do not want that to happen.

I wonder what these miners come out so slow, when the miners out there are faster, I do not understand Huh
