No, but I was thinking of testing small amount to see how it works with my Aqua wallet.
I would send any supported coin and receive liquid network L-BTC in my wallet but over lightning invoice.

Alright, feel free to share the experience. Btw, you gave me some homework right now. I think I test this Aqua wallet. I have never heard of it.

I would love to see exchange with better rates, but maybe you could try with Bisq exchange.
There are rumors about more BTC-XMR decentralized exchanges coming soon.

Personally I haven't found much better rates using Bisq, unless I wanted to wait for a week or so. But normally I pay something like 4-5% on each trade with Bisq.

Rumors ? Hmmm... I am curious to know about these rumors.

I wonder why recently some pairs BTC-XMR for example charge 5% fees on eXch when just few months ago it was 0.5% fee ?

The liquidity comes from users, and more people are buying than selling XMR. Maybe the fee trading in the opposite direction can be lowered to encourage adding liquidity.
This is the case even on big centralized exchanges, that is why they often don't allow people to withdraw xmr...they claim because of some maintenance, but they just don't have enough coins.

I understand i just hope this 5% fee will not apply to all the pairs in the future, and it is indeed for re-balancing the liquidity.

Probably because of this:

XMR 0
BTC 88.43136183

OP does all the pairs will soon be at 5% fee? or it will stay only for ETH-XMR BTC-XMR ?
It's sad this eXch was the best in the industry until it became overpriced just recently..

Has anyone tried LN swaps on exch?

I have only tried BTC-XMR swaps, but I was wondering about switching from BTC to LN, since currently I had some issues with my "primary" CLN node and I want to get a small amount on my "secondary" semi-custodial wallet.

The liquidity is almost entirely on the Bitcoin side now. Who's dumping Bitcoin for altcoins?

I often look at volumes/reserves. It's common to see XMR (and LTC in a lesser degree) at 0 while BTC is available.

Personally I understand why people trade BTC for XMR, as since last year I'm one of those who reduce continuously their BTC bag and increase their XMR one over time.

The problem with that strategy is that XMR is not the same as bitcoin fundamentally. Its performance has been considerable worse over time, and you will probably lose money over the years...

Are you only using EXCH? Because I believe we should use multiple tools for privacy reasons. Am I wrong?

Yeah I only use eXch, but I only use the service for my "liquidities". For example the BTC I earn here, or when someone pays me with altcoin; I always swap them to XMR first, no matter if I want to keep BTC.

You're right, I should probably use some other services, but I haven't found a better one for now. I am not worried about it, as I use Tor, internet data not under my name, and I believe eXch when they say they don't keep logs.

On the other hand, for the BTC I HODL for the long term (I mean for my old days), I don't want them to be linked to any online service/exchange. I prefer only hodl what I am mining myself. Who knows, maybe X or Y service could be categorized "non-compliant" in the future and some coins could be tainted (scenario easy to imagine with USDT/USDC for example). I am probably over-paranoid, but I have the feeling that the futures regulations in general will give a disadvantage for people using some privacy-friendly services today or in the past.

I think exch.cx and similar are way cheaper than mixers. People might be using it for privacy too.

I don't think there is a better one, but there are alternatives like Bisq. I mainly use these 2 options.

Perhaps one day our intrusive gov friends will realize that some naughty Asians dressed in green and red suits are using X or Y service to exchange funds, and that BTC accumulated by said service would become as rotten as those held by a certain forum campaign manager following recent events? I don't hope so, but it's possible.

Since you are mining, this is a great option. So essentially your retirement funds are BTC that you have mined yourself. And you exchange every other BTC you own to XMR? That's cool.

However it is highly unlikely that coins derived from exchanges will be banned. As long as there are miners and nodes who are willing to validate such transactions, we are ok. It all depends on how "deep" chain analysis will go and how much the authorities will be able to control echanges and companies who receive BTC as payment.

I am doing that too... I have also upgraded my wallet security, generating my wallet and signing TXs offline.

You're absolutely right, I'm sure that people who do things properly sleep much better than those who don't take the time to do so  Tongue

I've seen that before, but now the other alts are almost empty too, with 99.5% of the liquidity on the Bitcoin end.

I was going to use the service now, and I just found out that LTC and XMR reserves are down to zero.

This is interesting:
Code:
XMR 0
LTC 1.13449965
ETH 2.259519735715089794
DASH 113.75385957
BTCLN 5.86485654
BTC 92.80798234
DAI 4127.069648502410018409
USDC 236.274917
USDT 11976.050074

Those are the coins I am using now, as BTC fees are very high.

I would like to suggest support for more coins... more USDT/USDC cheap blockchains (Liquid ,or maybe solana?).
I think DOGE might also be handy now

I just swapped some LTC and XMR, if you are fast enough they are some in stock right now  Grin

Hello @eXch.cc

Not that it's a serious matter at the moment, but I am just curious and thinking. Your x.com profile is named after a one Sarah Nugent (https://twitter.com/exchcx) with probably her profile photo or perhaps a fake one. I don't know. Why Sarah Nugent? Is she a representative? I hope it's a fake.

If indeed she's a real person out there, don't you think this might endanger her, given how hell-bent law enforcement is towards services that resist their directives?

The profile picture reminds me of something out of AI face generators particularly with the way it's awkwardly cropped 🤔

Couple of examples from thispersondoesnotexist.com

I have been using L-BTC (liquid) and I would like to suggest you to add this 2nd layer solution to your services. I would certainly use it and I believe other members would use it as well.
I am also supporting this suggestion.
Exch alreadx supports Lightning Network so adding Liquid would be cool, both for L-BTC and for L-USDT, especially for people who don't want to mess with shitcoins and still use stable coins.
Only thing I am not sure is how they will provide enough liquidity for L-BTC and L-USDT.

Purely out of curiosity, have you tried using https://boltz.exchange/ for Liquid swaps? It's what Aqua wallet uses for its swap functionality. I've used Boltz before for Lightning and it worked really well.
Aqua wallet is using Boltz and SideSwap, they just merged everything into one super easy to use wallet.

Thanks. It's good to have one more option available.

I have aqua too. I think exch.cx would be more useful as I could exchange ltc and xmr to L-BTC too. And when fees go back to normal I would convert L-BTC to btc
