I hear about ETH becoming a staking platform but haven't read up much on it.  Are these L2 tokens able to stake and thus earn more coins?

Many shit tokens offer to stake to stimulate holders and reduce sales and thus avoid a drop in value. This gives them time to cash in their profits and often easy preparation for an exit scam.

I registered on Graviex a long time ago, probably because of some coins listed only there. I went to check the status, and I am surprised that my account is still active.
It looks like an abandoned ship. In open orders, there are just a few hundred bucks in total.

License don't matter to me, I'd rather see regulators out the door myself.

I think that trusting to unlicensed exchanges is weird when we now have options. Many of us used to want them beng regulated them back in day as exit scams and pump & dumps were happening so often.

All small and obscure exchanges have turned to the third line of cryptocurrencies. These are solutions for coins/tokens that do not meet the minimum criteria to be listed on serious exchanges. Here they are offered the opportunity to be tradable. Very often, the coins they accept have very bad software, the network is full of errors, so this brings additional problems. One of the reasons why we often have shitcoin complaints on shit exchange.
The final crash happens with a bear market when the trading fees of worthless shit coins become dust.

I won't defend anyone here, but definitely, these exchanges with shittokens are a kind of dump, I believe that they are also part of the whole cryptocurrency game.
They used to be needed a lot more when every coin had their own blockchain. Now most new cryptos are L2 tokens and you can trade them in dexes so smaller exchanges have lost lot of their meaning.

Keeping alive the economy of the small cap staking coins allow people to use average computers and trade their stakes up a ladder going to coins like Reddcoin, Pinkcoin and Neblio that are on the bigger exchanges.

Secondly, why do you continue to use that exchange, yet it has several negative complaints about it.

Graviex is a total scam and stealing peoples coins. Stop using this exchange. They are not registered anywhere. No license to track nor office location. They can do an exit scam anytime. Stay away from this exchange as they are unlicensed.

I've been using Graviex like 5 years and never lost a withdrawal... Had some missing deposits through the years but they have all been resolved through support.
License don't matter to me, I'd rather see regulators out the door myself.
1st rule of crypto still applies, not your keys - not your coins. Don't keep funds dormant on exchanges.

Wanna make a scam accusation where everyone looking stands a chance of seeing it,

Then make a fresh post in the scam accusations board, use this guide - https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/scam-report-format-use-it-to-make-scam-reports-properly-260073

I stopped using it already. Just warning people not to fall victim to their antics.

Not going to argue with your reasoning one bit, but did you bump this thread because you got scammed by them or are you just boosting your post count?  If it's the former, you should fill out a scam accusation form in a separate thread.

Ironically, these oddball exchanges that don't seem to be registered anywhere are the ones that don't require KYC and seem to be drawing in a lot of customers because of that and because they list all the shitty altcoins as soon as they're cranked out of the meat grinder.  You're taking your chances with any of them, but the day is soon coming when there won't be any non-KYC exchanges left.  If I'm not mistaken, graviex has been around a while and does at least have some kind of track record.

But you're still spot-on about the risk of them just disappearing overnight with their customers' funds.  On the other hand, the same could be said of SouthXchange, Yobit, Xeggex, and a long list of similar exchanges.

I got scammed on missing withdrawals and when you ask support they will only tell you it has been processed which will never arrive. I also know a lot of people on discord with same scam issues. However, any exchange without a license in this time and age will the type of services offered by graviex is obviously bidding its time to disappear. Fees are never accepted in their GIO coins as they will rather return the voted coins back to you but preferred o keep harvesting users bitcoin continuously. I have demanded severally from them to know where they are licensed so as to know how they themselves are regulated but shockingly graviex has no license , has no office and keep saying they are located in Russia, Germany and Belarus. Its a completely risky exchange to trade on.

IS KYC mandatory or can we use without it?

Didn't found documentation very enlightening on this matter.

They were pretty vague on rules when i was still in, it sounded like they didn't really know what they were doing nor they would wok with any sort of regulators. I mean it wasn't supposed to be even an exchange when they started but an utility token Cheesy

Graviex was just a happy misstep from them that came without any warning.

Graviex is a SCAM, i made ETH Withdraw two days ago, and TX id doesnt exist.

They say is already done, but i cant find in etherscan, i pay gas feed and them they use low gas so this means my tx can take months if they make it

You can check by yourself in twitter or social media whats happend with graviex, becarefull

I faced the same issue and the fact is that they charge a lot but they pay the lowest fees for miners. Meaning, that they send them but I get my money after a week.
That was enough for me to stop trading there.

Thanks for the info, I still have around $80 there, I immediately withdraw, the thing that makes me trade there is when I buy coins or tokens the price is very cheap than other market, and then immediately move it to other exchanges.

Please put the Stronghands wallet online.  This coin has a large community and keeping the functioning wallet offline is not generating good feelings towards the exchange.
