I cant belive that so many People think that the site is coming back.  Theire took the Money and you can do whatever, but your Money is lost.  The site is gone forever.  Bye bye coinmarkets.  Just say goodbye to youre coins and start using good and trusted sites.  Learn youre lesson

Do I believe your illiterate ass, or theirs? http://185.66.140.234/news.php

I've always expected them back as I know they're simply incompetant web developers; their basic HTML is riddled with noob stuff.. tons of header tags, use inline css, tables, and   for positiong elements, paragraph tags and breaks for spacing... the list goes on and on, perfect case study of what not to do..  1 month to migrate files and recover a simple DB sounds about right.

chill people. Coinsmarkets will back. Today all wallet up to date. you can cheak it here - http://185.66.140.234/walletstatus.php

AND DON'T USE coinsmarkets.net and coinsmarket.io - two pages that want to extort your login details

Thank you for providing the IP. Even though the dns name isn't resolved correctly anymore, it shows at least something changes. For me that is something good, would love to see the site online again next week. Anyway this thread is already epic. I think I will come back here from time to time to not get too comfortable with letting my money on exchanges.

That's no a legit site as it appears this site was set up by scammers that were probably attempting to steal coins when the site became unstable.

What in interesting thing this is to follow.
I've gone through so much, sleeplessness, happiness, hope, disbelief and everything in between.

I don't know if they will come back or not, but frankly I have given up to waste my happiness and energy on it. But let's hope! <3

Or take a look from the other side. If you are the operator and had intentions to fix the issue would you still fix it? When you know everyone is going to withdraw and never look back.
You don't understand what CoinsMarkets is.
A lot of the shitcoins are listed only on CM. Also CM was a heaven for small PnD and volume inflation schemes. Those people will continue to use CM just because they have no alternative.

Good point however i think it is not enough to justify their comeback.
There is a bunch of other exchanges listing absolute trash basically for p&d groups and there will be many others this year i bet, some of them probably by the same scammers who operated coinsmarkets.

There is a website called CoinsMarkets.net up and running but I think it is a scamsite. It tries to phish for your login information. Does anyone know about this? Don't log in to it

May be some withdraw and what? Many coins was listed only on Coinsmarkets, they would have traded on it anyway.

Classic scam scheme. They're trying to show that everything will be okay while cleaning up traces behind them. I can even imagine that no one is doing anything, just a script randomly brings up and down the server in an abandoned basement.
Everyone wants no regulations. There you go.

Looks like they will need new domain and re-branding. Expected time to find new domain 2 weeks, we have to bear with them  Grin

Yes, this is very interesting. In a weird way, like an episode of the twilight zone or something.

The guys running it seem to be trying to keep it going but unwilling to communicate anything. Too stupid to understand the results of keeping peoples millions in the dark with seemingly nothing happening on the website for weeks. Except withdraw pages disappearing, and sudden self-DDOS functionality appearing where the site reloads itself all the time. Weird test-transactions popping up for a few days. Balances changing back and forth with small amounts. Login sometimes working, other times not.

Yet smart enough to build an exchange, provide POS functionality as a unique feature, allow trading in fractions of satoshis. Raking in interesting shitcoins from the fringes of the dark corners of the internets. Making it all work for loads of shitcoins and a respectable number of people. But again unwilling to communicate and seemingly unable to realize the results. Not doing a clear exit scam to grab and run but running the weirdest show.

Registering their shits at some random guys house in Den Haag. Or maybe they are the old guy there, who knows. Anyway, getting their domain name seized by the registrar for this. In their few and rare communications telling that they only communicate on their own site. Typically oneliners but few days ago an actual post with information. False or real, who knows. It's all too weird. But now that the domain is seized, how will they ever communicate to people on their site, which is inaccessible. And it is their only medium of communication they are willing to use. Hah.

Smart enough to set up CloudFlare to hide their IP's. To apparently hide from the registrar, and everything else in theory needed to hide themselves. Too stupid to hook themselves direct to their DB as root. And to expose their internal IP addresses allowing us to bypass CloudFlare in their error messages. Leaving an odd bot on coinsmarketschat.chatango.com to spam same "switching servers" message for weeks, while reporting different issues using a randomly changing oneliner on their page. The chatango chat turning day by day into more desperate place where people seemingly are taking stronger and stronger weed every day.

Well, I have some nice pile of shitcoins there that I would love to have back and trade some more on their interesting stuff. The POS staking was just great because I am just a noob too lazy to set up all the different wallets. Not really expecting to have anything any more, but this shit is so weird I keep watching it in fascination. Those shitcoins turned to BTC and fiat could've bought some nice pile of popcorn for sure.

If it does come up, I will keep using it for sure but have consider how much Smiley

Yeah right! I have to grab a bag of popcorn before I get caught up on the coinsmarkets latest.

I don't know if this is true or not, but a few months back someone was on coinsmarkets chatbox saying the owner was a teenage boy running the operation out of his mom's basement. If true that would explain a lot...
Very smart teenage boy. Grin I think it's just a joke.
