do you guys still get the chatbox even? for me its gone i dont even find by logging into chatango like i did yesterday, been unable to get into it all day.

Go to http://coinsmarketschat.chatango.com/ for the chatbox.

The site itself certainly seems to have gone even worse since yesterday. Login is no longer possible, just complains about wrong login, while I put in the correct details. Also getting to that page is difficult now, Cloudflare constantly drops on error page.

If you are really positive, you might think they took it all offline to be able to finish the migration. Somehow I am not very positive on this.. Shocked

Domain is set to expire 9 March 2018 which is fishy and no exchange would have done it and neither any good report website

Well yeah, but next.exchange didn't do anything to us Smiley their problem Smiley
So far, coinsmarkets.com has out coins and we don't know how to get them back.
Also, we don't know if we will be allowed anytime soon.

I wouldnt be bothered by next.exchange for now... not much joining points with all 3 projects except some names from NL, which are also not the same.

I think they are just very unprofessional, or at least I hope so. I wouldn't be surprised if they didn't do anything the whole weekend. If there is nothing official until Tuesday, nor the website is running again we probably have a problem.

I was pretty optimistic until today, but I can't log on now.  It tells me, "Wrong Login Info" and can't see any markets anymore.  Now I feel it's more than a 50% chance that we got robbed.   Angry

Had this problem on Friday and could log in later on.

I can understand people and even things being registered in different parts of the world, after all we live in an age where people dont have to be in the same office to fulfill their work especially if its IT based. So its plausable that one of their guys lives in the USA and works remotely whilst the office is in Europe etc etc.

But i must admit I am starting to lose hope very very quickly here.

Hi Guys,

Shall I send you the phone-guide of Den Haag Netherlands ? Then you can phone everyone
there to see who is the owner (lol)
These inquiries are useless. I dont believe for a moment that the NEXT website has anything to do
with the CoinsMarkets website. It seems out of a different universe.

You want to know more ? Do a whois on their exchange where ECA is gonna be listed next. http://next.exchange  You will see that coinsmarkets and next are hosted on the same webhost called Gandi.

‏ @Soylent0Green
Also, Elektra is hosted in the Netherlands, Coinsmarkets is on a dutch name too, Next is on a dutch name too. Check the company who registered http://Next.exchange .

Edit : everything is dutch! ECA ( electraCoin ) Coinsmarkets and now the next exchange...

That's not how it works.  WHOIS tells you the registrar, not the host.  Gandi is a very reputable and widely used registrar, there's no reason to believe there's any connection between two sites just because of this.  That's like saying two people are in cahoots because they both shopped at Walmart at some point in their lives.

But there is registrant and that is person who registered domain.

Some message on website chat group to check balance on explorer

they just posted on the twitter said will be back today or on Monday, hope it's not scam...

and here is newest update:
https://twitter.com/CoinsMarkets_US/status/950013076379717633

but people said this is a fake twitter account ...

Don't you think it is strange that 4 days after site went down they created new Twitter account and sending tweets like crazy?
before zero communication Smiley

In my opinion this is to keep people not interested in chatbox away from reporting theirs activity.
However, it is still difficult to identify country as there is nothing about people behind that exchange Smiley

And now.. domain is registered in Amesterdam (yep.. incorrectly spelled in whois).
Twitter account points us to San Francisco Smiley isn't strange? Smiley or just move attention away from correct county.
Twitter from US came to life when people start talking about reporting case to police.
So, now another distraction Smiley different continent Smiley

I still think it has all signs of scam... and there is nothing which confirms we have any information from coinsmarkets team.
All is directed towards delaying peoples reaction.

it's NOT amsterdam but DEN HAAG!

An operation on a socket could not be performed because the system lacked sufficient buffer space or because a queue was full.

can any tech guy explain me the meaning of this ? site is currently showing this...

doesnt need much imagination. the old system still runs the website and it has no resources (cpu/memory/network)
to service the many connections tried by frustrated clients. We should stop connecting until the website is back online
which they say should be tomorrow.

reiniere.

this is the non technical ans...i already imagined that....

This means the server the exchange software is running on is out of some resources. Memory/network related most likely. Filesystem, network ports, sockets, whatever.

In practice I would say it means there is no-one looking at it at all, since a single reboot should fix it at least shortly. But it also means it is very poorly implemented to get into that state, or maybe just getting too much constant refresh on a single small server in the corner. Since the page only loads rarely, maybe there should be several more servers running but those are offline. Cloudflare tries one, perhaps randomly, and if you hit the one that is on, it is out of resources.

So my guess is two things. Poor implementation and no-one around to even bother rebooting it. Not that it would really do anything good in this situtation, but then again they could just as well just shut it down and replace with a static info page.
