Of course it would be an advantage. Crypto industry is becoming more recognized by countries, and profitable opportunities are increasing as well which opens new career possibilities for people. And with Bitcoin being an investment, that says it already. If a child would be exposed with investments in general, he/she will develop better decision making and would as well put more value to things. Learning how to make money at a young age especially with investments, will be a habit as they grow.

However, nothing's should be done by force. Given that we are talking about people at young age, not all of them could adopt such mindset simply because their attention and comprehension are still limited to those which are interesting in their point of view. Allow them to be curious for themselves. If you're a parent having plans of exposing your kids early, do it slowly in a way that they will still be able to enjoy other stuff while they're young.

Do you feel that all young guys should be informed and educated about bitcoin ?

Knowing and learning about Bitcoin is not going to harm anyone. Yes, I believe everyone should know about Bitcoin at a young age so they have the basic idea and concept of Bitcoin. A person does not have to invest in Bitcoin as soon as they hear or learn about it. If I talk about myself, I heard about Bitcoin a long ago. But I did not invest a single dollar in it. There was a time when I used Bitcoin just as a payment method and I did not have any plan to hold it.

I had a few thousand dollars in the last bull run as well which became a few hundred dollars because of my mistakes. But, I have saved my earnings in the last year which is kind of double at this moment. I hold it because I have known Bitcoin for a while and I have faith in it. A person who just learned about Bitcoin won't have the same confidence as me. So, people can learn about Bitcoin at a young age which will help them in the future.

Do you think that exposure to bitcoin at an young age is a good thing in general ? I feel it should be taught based on individual personality and not to very young guy. This is because all young guys might not be responsible enough to invest and track with patience at young age. However, those who have the required patience can make very high returns on their investment by investing at an young age. So, which side are you in this aspect ? Do you feel that all young guys should be informed and educated about bitcoin ?
I don’t have issues when introducing bitcoin at a young age, it will be an advantage instead most especially if the child is curious about bitcoin. However, it doesn’t mean that once you exposed a person into bitcoin, he will definitely invest on it quickly.

Investment learning and preparation takes time, so he needs to be educated at first and weigh things carefully if he’s really responsible enough to manage the risk of bitcoin or not. Also, one who has no stable source of income should never encourage to enter investments most particularly with bitcoin, but he can always chose to learn about bitcoin at a young age and be aware of its pros and cons when one decides to invest.

I would say that, I hope that when I was at my young age, someone should influence me in crypto currency and bitcoin early, because when I'm at my young age I dont have any interest in this kind of thing because I want is play games and such, and same goes if I have a chance I will introduce and influence young age to learn about crypto currency so that they will be independent in terms of financial at early age and it will be a good gift because as they will explore they will discover a lot of things that could make them profit, honed their skills, gather knowledge and sharpen their experience in that way they will be mored advanced at young age and they can implement those knowledge and skills to the other things, knowledge about crypto currency is a gift that should be passed down to young age so that they can be more matured and money oriented.

"and not to very young guy" lol.  Why not "young girl"?  Do you come from a nation that is so backwards that it believes women shouldn't be involved in such "important things as finance? I sure hope not.

There's nothing wrong with teaching your children (men or WOMEN) about money.  Whether that be a nations fiat currency, or a new breakthrough technological currency called bitcoin.

Exposure to finance-related stuff in general is a good thing imo. Not that young ofc, probably around mid-late teens. It doesn't have to be Bitcoin specifically, just letting the kid know the importance of money, what tax is, what investments are, and stuff like that is already a good start. And then maybe at their early 20s you could then start talking and teaching about more complicated stuff and maybe letting them do it themselves e.g. investments, filing taxes (just filling up forms to know what it means) and stuff like that.
Right, it’s still a good thing to let these kids become aware at their earlier age about finance related. Like how to save money so they can learn how to value their expenses whether they’re necessary or not really, and when they’re mature enough ready to understand about more complicated things, that’s the right time that they can start exposing theirselves into bitcoin or other ways of investments.

For now, since bitcoin is still not considered as a global currency, kids might not be interested learning on it but if in the future bitcoin will be considered as one, I think it’s the right of every child to learn about bitcoin and its value even at a young age.

I'm curious, why do you think exposing someone to Bitcoin would equal to them trying to invest in it? bitcoin is not just about investing and making a profit out of it, they can use it as a payment method to buy things, it is a cryptoCURRENCY after all. also, they can be exposed to it without actually investing or doing anything related to Bitcoin.

Do you feel that all young guys should be informed and educated about bitcoin ?
it wouldn't hurt to educate them about it but only do it in a timely manner and not force it on them, they are individuals who have their own interests, if they want to learn about Bitcoin then do your very best to teach them about it.

If we're talking about ages 10 to 13, then no, leave the kid alone.  Understanding Bitcoin requires a solid foundation in economics, which a 13-year-old lacks; they might not even grasp concepts like supply and demand.  If we're referring to your 18- to 20-year-old son or daughter, then by all means, yes.  It's an opportune moment to educate them, especially as they've completed school and are beginning to understand the complexities of the world.

I can agree with you here. Start with general topics like the investment-related stuffs, don't introduce bitcoin/crypto right away. And if the young person shows interest, that's when you go much further with discussion. If they are not interested, don't force them to divulge in this route. It is always best if the person is willing to learn on his own and have the passion to continue. Because if the young individual has some sort of interest, he will do his own research and have the diligence to study the subject matter. It is not difficult to convince him if he has the knowledge of what he is getting into so to speak.

Early exposure to bitcoin is a great privilege every chat should have but it depends on what aspect of bitcoin the child is being exposed to. I strongly recommend the technical aspect of bitcoin for children 12 years downward, this will help them understand the technology behind bitcoin. Then from 14 years upwards, the money aspect of bitcoin is ideal to be explained to children because at this age, they will not be distracted in their foundational education by the money involved.

In addition, at 14, children would have already been framing the idea of the lifestyle they want and knowing that bitcoin can help them achieve that lifestyle faster, they will be able to start keeping bitcoin already. Just imagine starting a bitcoin portfolio at 14 and building same till one get up to 25, that is a decade of building. Even if it is weekly DCA of $20, which average high school student can afford, that will over $10k worth of bitcoin and why this is done over two market circles, it could get as much as $30k because the price of bitcoin would have tripled within the same period of time.

I actually don't really like to say this as an “exposure” because in the end vocabulary like this looks ambiguous and as if bitcoin is a virus that does infect people.

Back to the main problem where is it really good enough if indeed the introduction of bitcoin starts even since childhood? I don't think it's a problem as long as we introduce this reasonably, please note that if we want to introduce bitcoin to children or other people whose age is below us even still in childhood it is not as easy as we imagine because there can be differences in meaning and differences in meaning that small children can capture when we introduce bitcoin so in this case it needs a really extra effort until bitcoin can be accepted and understood properly.

In addition, this is also not a coercion like we do doctrine because in the end this is just an introduction as to whether or not children like bitcoin then it's their business the most important thing is that we tell them that bitcoin exists and can be a good option in the midst of the current fiat and implied onslaught.

I once created a thread about teaching my 11-year-old nephew about Bitcoin. From that topic, I learned that children should not be suffocated with ideas they are not yet ready for or cannot handle. Trying to force children to learn about Bitcoin may not seem bad because you want children to know about it at an early age and invest in it so that their investment can amount to a huge profit before they are adults. That's a good idea, but you can still give this idea to parents so that they will know about it and invest on behalf of their kids.

Parents can always take half the savings or money gifts of their children and invest one part in Bitcoin, but only if they are aware of Bitcoin.

If a kid learns about Bitcoin while they are too young, they may not be able to invest or might not have even had mature knowledge about financial responsibilities. The kid only wants to have fun, play video games, watch his favorite cartoon, sleep, go to school, play, buy biscuits and sweets, and nothing more. The kid may not know it's necessary to invest, and when you deprive them of their enjoyable moment, they begin to feel bored and stressed by you.

In the modern world, parents should know about Bitcoin so they can invest in their kids future, and when those children have fully grown up to learn about Bitcoin, the parents can educate them about it at the right age.

Better to let kids have fun and maybe learn how to save money and do proper finance in their teenage years. In my opinion, you shouldn't really be forcing your interests down kids' throats especially knowing that there are far more important things to learn than bitcoin.
Exactly. Bitcoin is not actually a necessity that it should be taught at an early age. Let the kids enjoy their childhood first, just pure play and have fun. Eventually, when they reach their mature age, if they really want to know about bitcoin and get educated, they can always pursue with it with all the free resources in the internet.

I think that bitcoin is already a quite specific topic within the financial world so, in my opinion, if you need to explain bitcoin to someone, especially if it's a kid, you need first to explain a little bit of how economy works, then you can go deeper into bitcoin. Otherwise is like explaining someone how to write before it can even talk, let's simply go in order.

I believe responsibility has nothing to do with age, bitcoin investment is something that involves some level of risk and its an extreme volatile asset which can change price from the to time and if a teenager can handle himself in such situations then it's nice and there is nothing to worry about.

Investment in general would be a great thign to expose to a child, it would teach him how to handle his finance properly and also cashflow management which im sure is a good lesson to teach to a child or teenager.

How young? High school young? College young? If you are talking about students, they usually don’t have any meaningful savings to spend on crypto. It is more important to educate these young people about bitcoin first imo. It is because no matter what investment they do in their young age only a handful of them will stick with their original investment plan. People change their views on anything anytime so I am having a hard time to think a college student will be DCA’ing to btc for the next 10 years. Most people don’t have that kind of patience. Getting an education is aay more important than having any exposure on crypto for that reason.

If you are not forcing it on them and if they are not yet buying BTC with the money they have, then it is fine for young people to learn about BTC, but it has to be of their own genuine interest. It is good for young people to understand what they can about finance and it is great if BTC is a part of that learning process.

I believe cryptocurrency is here to stay, given the substantial funds in the space, the growing number of investors (including wealthy and influential ones), and its established presence over time. Therefore, it is beneficial to introduce the younger generation to the market early. This will not only help secure their portfolios but also foster an investment mindset from a young age.
