2 races to go, if the same Hamilton-Verstappen 1-2 happens in Jeddah, it will be winner takes all in Abu Dhabi. Plenty of potential spoilers and big drama moves could be in the wings though but I somehow think we shouldn't be expecting much.

We really have a lot of combinations as a possible outcome for the title to be decided in the last race.

On the other hand, there are few combinations for which Verstappen can become champion already in the next GP.

Max will win the title in the next race only if one of this 4 outcomes will happen

-He wins and Hamilton 6
-He wins + fast lap and Hamilton 5
-2nd and fast lap and Hamilton 10
-2nd and Hamilton no points

So the bookies were right, everything on point, and even with all the drama and Bottas retiring, the main stage more or less played out as it should (and a nice Alonso break-the-lull podium finish).

Yes, the race did end according to what the bookmakers thought was the most likely option. Hamilton was able to reduce the distance by 7 points, but in fact the situation has not changed - any failure makes Verstappen a champion, and Verstappen's failure is not so fatal. But of course, if the next race ends with the same result, then in the last race Verstappen's advantage will be purely formal.

Well the race was a great one even if he had a bit of a show only in the last laps when punctures appeared everywhere. Funny how only Mercedes teams had punctures right ? For me it's obvious that FIA wants to make Max champions and they will do what they can to make Mercedes races uncomfortable. In the end , I hope that Lewis will win and take his 8th title.

Now ,a serious question for F1 fans. What would've happen if Prime Lewis would fight Prime Max ? I think Lewis would beat him 9 out of 10. What this means ? It means that Max is fighting and old Lewis already and he barely can move a finger on him. Lewis is the goat , even if we like it or not.

Well Redbull should be pleased with what they've obtain today but Lewis's mercedes is a monster right now so unless the engine or the car will have some problems, he will win the race tomorrow without having any troubles. Also another trouble could be Max who could crash into him in the 1st corner but once again that straight speed is on Mercedes side right now.

Hemilton got pole, but it is still far from winning the race, although judging by the chances from the bookmakers, everything is predetermined lol: Hemilton 1.37 Verstappen 4.05
As for the clash, it would be a very dirty move on the part of Verstappen, although if he could do it without suspicion of intent, then he would almost guarantee himself the championship.

Look: there are 14 points between Hamilton and Verstappen. There are 3 races left, one failure for Hamilton (0 points) will mean the loss of the championship. If Hamilton wins two races, and Verstappen is second, then they will only be equal on points. If Verstappen wins even one race, then, on average, he will be out of reach for Hamilton. The handicap is too great. At the same time, the odds are almost the same 1.87 for Verstappen and 1.92 for Hamilton.
This season looks exciting with the confrontation between these two ingenious F1 drivers.  Of course, it will be difficult for Lewis to win the first place, but it is still possible.

I wonder what surprises the brand new track in Qatar can bring.  As far as I know, there has never been a single competition of this level there.  But I don’t know if the riders are familiar with this new track?
The race that will be held at the Losail circuit in Qatar, Max Verstappen and Lewis Hamilton will be in the spotlight and will fight for the world title and will be a very exciting race and at the same time the first time to see and feel. by drivers and spectators.

The 5.38 km track, Losail circuit will be a new challenge for the team and the riders and will be a fierce and hot competition for the two drivers because of the 14 point difference and will also be an exciting race to watch.

Haas basically has zero reason to be this bad, they could spend a lot more money and they could also get a lot better drivers, maybe Mick is good I can't say much but it is clear that Mazepin is horrible, they only got him because Mazepin brings ton of money with him. This type of "pay driver" issues in F1 makes a horrible viewing pleasure, we already have basically 10-12 decent cars and drivers out there racing every week, aside from that everything looks to be getting worse and I am afraid next year it will be even worse.
I also think that this team should have changed the pilot, because Mike Schumacher will not be able to achieve results like his father once did.  With all due respect to the achievements of his father.  Alas
And the co-pilot in this team generally seems to me to be some kind of racing lover, he is clearly much weaker than the main competition pilots.  But, of course, I understand that we are talking about colossal money and this will really reduce the sporting nature of the teams' competitions themselves.  If this continues, for example, Haas does not change pilots, then it will become somehow disgusting to watch.

Getting a Chinese driver just because it would mean a lot more funds, getting Qatar and Saudi Arabia involved. We all say that we do not want politics but does anyone really believe that Zhou is actually a better driver? It's a clear move that Alfa Romeo only cares about the money they are going to make, much like Haas doing right now.

Breaking news: Alfa Romeo hired Guanyu Zhou, while Antonio Giovinazzi is leaving.
I find it as a bad tactical move, maybe it's good financially, I don't know...

However, only now we have full pilots' list for next year. Wink

It is only a money move.

Often in F1 money are more important than the quality of the drivers.

Piastri winner in his 1st year of F3 and winner this year in his first year of F2 (like Leclerc and Russell did in the recent past) will be only the 3rd driver of Alpine next year.

Zhou who is only the "number 2" in the current season of F2 will race as the official driver of ALFA ROMEO...

We are getting close to another race which is the Qatar GP this time. And this is a new track in F1 which can be a sign for an interesting race. None of the drivers will be more experienced than the others. But the power of the cars is still the same in the end. So we should be seeing a fierce rivalry between Mercedes and Red Bull as always. And everyone will be eyeing the title competition between Hamilton and Verstappen. I can't wait to watch this race too!

Actually, the race track in Qatar, near Doha, was built quite a long time ago ~ 15 years ago.  It also has a long straight section over a kilometer long.  So there is where to accelerate.
But on this track F1 will be for the first time, there used to be car races of other formulas and motorcyclists' competitions.
But, Let's see how our two brilliant pilots perform in Qatar. Smiley

Pretty well pointed out, however it should be mentioned that if Verstappen has a failure (0) points, Hamilton simply gets the lead and will most probably not lose it.
It should be a nice "battle": Verstappen has the points, Hamilton has the car. I can only hope it will be a fair fight - from both sides.

I don't think these are equivalent comparisons. If Verstappen crashes and Hemilton takes first place, he will be just 11 points ahead of Verstappen. This is an easy attack range for the remaining two races. In a situation where Hemilton gets 0 points, then this is an actual disaster, since the number of points being played is already very small (50 + -) and the gap increases dramatically. So I don't understand why the odds are actually the same.

Boredom occurs when one driver (and one team) dominates the entire championship. Things are different this season and it looks like Hemilton will lose the championship. Quite surprisingly, despite Verstapen's point advantage and only 3 remaining stages, Hemilton's chances are just slightly worse.
I wouldn't be so categorical. The next race may clarify the approximate disposition at this point in time. According to the latest races, Mercedes looks better and there is no longer the superiority of Red Bull cars that was observed a few races ago. I would say more that Mercedes, on the contrary, had a clear advantage and Hamilton's engine change at the last stage in Mexico was almost in the most unpleasant way for Lewis. Why did I use the word "almost"? Because after all, Max scored an extra three points for the sprint. And so, taking into account the new engine, Hamilton has excellent chances for the title. And if Bottas also helps... Well, of course not by the famous entry into Verstappen's car, I didn't mean that Grin And just taking second place, pushing Max away from Lewis. At least, judging by the last races, Bottas also has a competitive car at the level of Verstappen.

yeah just find out that the italien jesus have been dropped for next year season, its true that he made some improvements in his career lately getting to Q3 in some occasions but those Q3 finishes were not translated to points,
im afraid that we will never know how much potential that Giovinazzi , and yes probably Alfa Romeo made a mistake not keeping him because he have glimpse on what the next car would be.
As for Guanyu Zhou its purely a financial help for Alfa Romeo as he will be bringing 30M euro sponsorship to his seat, Zhou is not the best F2 driver out there as he is currently 2nd with 142 points while Paistri is far ahead 178.
with the drivers lists completed for next year i think that Nyck de Vries will be one of the few drivers that won F2 championship without making it to F1.

In fact, Hamilon is a driver that surprises us at every race, as going from tenth place to third is not for any driver. It's never boring to watch an F1 race when Hamilton needs to gain positions, but when he starts first things get a lot more boring.
I had plans for this year to be able to see F1 in person, but for some personal problems this was not possible... maybe next year.

Doing so well for so long, using all his experience defying his age to remain at the top might make him one of the greatest drivers to ever drive F1.  Part of it might be technology and the car itself aiding him in his skills and certainly we know safety has improved gigantically over the years but also alot of it is Hamilton outperforming.  Nobody can say he doesnt deserve the season win at this point, he overcame enough set backs along the way.

Aston Martin is the disappointment of current season for me.
Its unfortunate, the company overall needs good news and a return on their investment.
