Bloomberg a mass media news organization who are known to report on the financial markets.
They have recently noticed the occurrence in the sport of F1 with the replacement to one of their drivers in the middle of the season not due to injury, which seems to be an unusual circumstance in any sport except for this one.
So they had an interview with Daniel Ricciardo prior to the Hungarian grand prix about the most controversial subject this season in his transfer to replace Nyck De Vries.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=B_L40gIceoY

Practice 3 just finished and it looks like Hamilton finished 1st with qualifying is about to begin in the next hour to see who will get the prized pole position for tomorrow's race.

Nice! They are covering even the F1 now, I really thought that they will be very curious about this kind of movement and now that Daniel Ricciardo was on Alpha Tauri he is in hot eyes right now this movement is really controversial if you put your mind to it because Nyck Devries is not injured but RedBull is moving him out, in the midst of the season,

Bloomberg really wants to get something from Ricciardo they questioned him about the difference between the Simulator and the real deal which I think they can answer even with common sense, but I really love what Daniel Ricciardo is answering questions with modesty and it is quite great knowing how he thinks in getting into RedBull somehow, well for sure Targeting one of the Drivers in RedBull,

Hamilton did it! I cheered so loud for him after I saw him crossing the finish line in P1 because he really worked hard in order to get back on top and I'm glad Mercedes had a decent car today in order to provide Lewis a chance for a pole run.

Tomorrow , the race should be insane to watch right ? I mean , it could be everyone's race as Max , Norris and even Piastri do have a chance to win it but Hamilton will most likely give 200% out of him to win the race.

Actually, it was Practice 3 now and as we are speaking me posting this the Qualifier is now in progress yeah Lewis Hamilton is from the bottom position to leading the Hunggaroring, and Max Verstappen ending it 2nd and Sergio Perez is back aswell but on the 3rd position for this practice race, for sure RedBull is now doing their all in gaining the momentum they can get and even the grid position now is crucial because the two RedBull has a not perfect start at all,

We have some not reliable data from this freepractice, so much water on track, but the only we can affirm its McClaren still in the contender to podium train.

This is the car development teams have made so far. Red Bull are one of the worsts according to that but they are still far ahead of all of them.  Grin

Well what a huge change in a good direction Mcclaren has made, not the same to say about Aston Martin. Poor Alonso.

Tomorrow we will have a first new time if it doesn't rain during qualifying.

It will be the first time for testing the new qualifying format where the drivers will be forced to use a different tire compound at each stage of qualifying.

Hungary is a very good track with a lot of passing changes, definitely a great start straight where people can pass each other as well, with a great turn at the end to stick it.

I know people dislike Monaco because people rarely see overtakes there, a very narrow street track makes that very difficult, but Hungary is not like that, there are two straights (one that comes before the start one, and the start straight) which could be used for overtakes, you will see there will be more than 15-20 overtakes all this race easily, and that makes it fun. Plus, I know it's still July, but if by some miracle we see some wet situation, suddenly things will change, it looks like there won't be any rain though, definitely sunny.

The Hungaroring is considered one of the narrowest Formula 1 tracks. The width of the track is within 12-15 meters. In addition, the Hungaroring has many curves with different radii, making it challenging for pilots. All this together makes overtaking more difficult and can lead to exciting duels between pilots.

@rdbase   Red Bull also are going to use a new sidepod as of this race.

The cooling inlet has also changed and there is a change with the front wing as well. All these upgrades can make Red Bull gain quite much time against their opponents in the Hungarian GP. They are already the fastest by far of course but they aim to keep this dominance at worst of course.

We should see about it when practice starts it could be hard to overtake track but for sure there is a way in getting past this Circuit and I think we will see it unveil in the upcoming Hungaroring Track, and maybe Alfonso and the Ferraris could have a benefit for this kind of Track but I think the other teams are doing their best aswell not just RedBull, McLaren, Ferrari, Mercedes, and Aston Martin, all of the teams will surely have a problem about the track and I think we will surely witness an exciting race for this week,

I hope it will be an exciting race, but unfortunately it will be a rather boring race like Monaco. The weather at the Ring is also predicting more stable, beautiful weather from tomorrow onwards, but today's practice might take place in the wet, which wouldn't be very meaningful.

With the Hungarian GP there are many teams who will have upgrades that will be noticeable such as with the Ferrari side pods as shown below:

Thanks for sharing the Ferrari updates, looks interesting, hopefully the power unit doesn't overheat though, there are a lot less vents. I would be happy if Ferrari could fight for the podium again.

First of all there is no sprint race on this track for this season but maybe they would do it in the next one. The next race weekend with a sprint race is going to be just after Hungarian GP which is in Spa, Belgium. For Hungarian GP I don't expect a big surprise about the winner of course. There should be another race Verstappen wins easily. I wonder what Perez will do in qualifying this time. He has been messing things up for himself in the recent times and he just makes his job very difficult about making it to podium.

I wonder what the reason behind this downfall in his qualifying performance. He still has the fastest car on the grid compared to other teams in the end.
He did win two races this season so he still has the driving spirit but I would imagine trying to compete against his own teammate driving a very similar car as yours and you are not producing similar results, it will question your skills. So maybe he is feeling this pressure by Red Bull with not at the very least finishing second place or even making a podium for every race in the season so far.

With the Hungarian GP there are many teams who will have upgrades that will be noticeable such as with the Ferrari side pods as shown below:

Red Bull has been wind testing their cars to see where they can improve even more their cars, if that is even possible:

Also the floor of their car that everybody had seen up on the lift thanks to Perez:

Last year in this track Russel wins no?

Well not, i go to check and not, he make the pole but not ended wining the race, but that race mark the reborn of Mercedes, and their have a very good last run after that. In the race they make two podiums with Hamilton second and George in third place.

I dont know what to expect, asides of Max Verstappen 99% chance of win.
No, it was Verstappen then Hamilton then Russell.

Max is at 6 race wins in a row since Miami and is chasing Vettel's record which is 9 races in a row.

Its gonna be tought to catch and surpass that mark, but not because he cant, because you need a little b it of luck to not crash or not have a engine failure in the car. We all know Max Verstappen and Red Bull is in condition to set a new record.

Still a surprise to see if he ended up breaking that mark, because it was one of that marks that you think "we are never gonna see it broken" or "its gonna last for decades".

But well still early to make an assumption.

I think you misunderstood coinlocket$. He said Monaco is the impossible overtake. You should know that it is Monaco where it's hard to overtake especially these few years ago when the car is larger than ever. Monaco is definitely the circuit that is hard to overtake in. For GP in Hungary, there are portions of the track that could be utilized to overtake, so that would be an advantage.

Let's see what happens in the practice and qualifiers.

Even with that hard-to-overtake track in Monaco, I think overtaking is viable if you are a genius driver like Max Verstappen, and in the Monaco GP I really think he has proven that he is the best, and in his 2023 Monaco GP performance there is no doubt that he has done incredibly in that Circuit despite many are saying that it is a harder track for sure, for me it is always because of his Simulation Race and making a quick trip in the F1 Simulation and practicing all track possible for sure he got most of the tracks in his head stored and never to be forgotten again,

Monaco is definitely "boring" if nothing happens, but sometimes things do happen and that's when it becomes entertaining. Like I remember last year being quite fun if I am not misremembering which one it was, that felt like a good one.

Hopefully they will do as much as they can on Hungary as well, there is a "story" or narrative this week, that will be basically a blue print for a whole episode of drive to survive, which is Ricciardio coming back, that's going to be like a celebration all by itself. He is also quite good when it comes to Hungary as well, so I am expecting him to be doing very well, if he passes his teammate on the very first game, that's going to be pretty awesome without a doubt, but that will require a bit of challenge of course.

If there is no crashing that is happening in the current race certainly it is going to be not boring but not entertaining aswell, well, if Max Verstappen won again they will surely dub it as boring for sure but certainly all he ever do was too be this dominant in every race he is at, he surely got an attitude to keep the pace for himself and I think he still has a lot of winning to do if he wants to reach the certain trophy that Michael Schumacher and Lewis Hamilton has right now I really think he will never stop in improving if he ever get that goal for sure,

Well Daniel Ricciardo in the Alpha Tauri for sure is not much because Alpha Tauri is surely one of the slowest cars or Chassis in the F1, even if he can race in the Alpha Tauri I really think he can have a great time returning to F1

Exactly, it's very difficult to overtake in Hungary, also the Ring is not exactly a fast track, should be an advantage again especially for RedBull. Last year Mercedes was very close to RedBull at the Hungaroring, but I think the layout of the circuit could also benefit Alonso and Ferrari?

We should see about it when practice starts it could be hard to overtake track but for sure there is a way in getting past this Circuit and I think we will see it unveil in the upcoming Hungaroring Track, and maybe Alfonso and the Ferraris could have a benefit for this kind of Track but I think the other teams are doing their best aswell not just RedBull, McLaren, Ferrari, Mercedes, and Aston Martin, all of the teams will surely have a problem about the track and I think we will surely witness an exciting race for this week,

Monaco is not the same as Hungary's track Circuit de Monaco is so Narrow but still, Max Verstappen had done his best in getting the 1st position even on this difficult track, while Sergio Perez started collapsing his performance on this track and started to mistakes in and didn't get into the podium anymore which is very unusual for him while Max Verstappen has continued to prosper in his performance so for the Hungary GP we can see a pretty much the same as Monaco GP but let's hope it's not going to be boring,

There was no mention of a sprint race from all the pre-race reviews that I watched, so it is safe to say there won't be one.
The teams will be limited to using one set of tyres during each of the qualifying runs.

This week we will have the GP in Hungary.
The track is very boring after Monaco is the one where is almost impossible to overtake.

Not only this, but they also decided to do the sprint race on this track.

I remember being tempted to go back to home favorites in Monaco but that totally didn't work out. I won't fall for it again, just gonna follow what drivers have good form and then hope that they are able to replicate that.

Does anyone ever bet on No top 10 finishes? I keep losing and odds are small on that market but seems certain on this track Smiley

This Hungary track in a way is like Monaco where it is nearly impossible to overtake but there is one long straight where drivers can enable DRS then there is a very short straight away but this a very winding track with 14 corners.

As for Riccciardo, his competition will be his car. As we all know the Alpha Tauri's are one of the slowest cars on the track.
So I don't see him getting to high up on the grid for the beginning of this race.
Give him a few more to let him ease into being with a new team and have him feel out the new car first I would say.
