This week we will have the GP in Hungary.
The track is very boring after Monaco is the one where is almost impossible to overtake.

Exactly, it's very difficult to overtake in Hungary, also the Ring is not exactly a fast track, should be an advantage again especially for RedBull. Last year Mercedes was very close to RedBull at the Hungaroring, but I think the layout of the circuit could also benefit Alonso and Ferrari?

Not only this, but they also decided to do the sprint race on this track.

For me in this track we will surely see the inginuinity of the drivers and the Hungaroring is truly twisty and tight for drivers to have a difficult time in overtaking, and that is somewhat producing some boring races but for me this is an opportunity to see genuine drivers that can likely make something out of this tight situation and I really want to see this Circuit and for sure this track has many good view for spectators because if is build in a valley and if Max Verstappen still finishes 1st or at the podium surely he is one of a good driver making a quick progression in every track he come across,

Well , last year we had the epic defend of Alonso right ? So at least we can have some defender drivers putting up a show and I'm sure Alonso will be one of them. Furthermore , if Aston Martin has a good practice mode but also a qualifying session , I can see Alonso being on the podium with most likely P3. However, my prediction is on McLaren as I think they will secure again a podium and I do hope it will be Piastri this time but with both cars on points as they need that desperately. <3

Sprint race on this is kinda meh but we will see ...maybe we get a surprise with this race.

Actually most poles in the Hungaroring are Michael Schumacher, and Lewis Hamilton and most wins are for Hamilton so maybe Lewis Hamilton still have the finishing touches he needs to make it to podium for the Hungary but let see even with the possibility of lack in overtake maybe some drivers may surprise us with something for this track you may never know if Lando Norris is practicing something in the F1 Simulation ahead for this track same goes to Max Verstappen, because Simulation race is something of a cheat code for racers that are actually familiar with it,

Right now we got an Sportsbet.io Hungarian Grand Prix Prediction Contest going on right now you can surely put on your picks and win free bets,

This coming week for sure because this week is a break for all F1 fans and for the F1 drivers themselves, and regarding the Circuit being boring, well it is because of the lack of straight for this Hungary Circuit, the Hungaroring, and it is certainly compared to a karting circuit that is why you are saying it is a boring track, but it is more challenging for drivers because of the lack of straights meaning there is that short opportunity for drivers to make the acceleration and because of that many corners the car will need its downforce to work properly and certainly in those corners would surely tend great battles in gaining the position,

Well, the F1 Hungary Grand Prix will certainly is in its normal mode this time and will only consist of 3 practice session, a qualifier, and the main Race, so yeah, and McLaren has a good run last GP, so many are now speculating that Lando Norris will make another podium or Oscar Piastri could now land the podium this time, well that is because of the McLaren upgrades but for me, it all got to do with the livery but kidding aside I think it is all in the skills and talent of their drivers that they landed in the Podium on the Great Britain GP, and it was the 1st Podium of Lando Norris this season,

Yes you have a point here, but i think Sainz have a combination of bad luck plus Ferrari clown moves (the same Leclerc suffer) and also when he have to put an amazing drive he doesnt make any super performance. Then we can say he its not en possition to claim so much. Perez in the other hand its clearly not at the same level as MV but he have so really good races.

For me, Ferrari just has some poor decision-making in switching tires and reading the situations if there is rain or wet floor coming the way that has caused them a lot of race at the podium, for sure but these two Ferraris surely also have some grip on the F1 and you will surely never know when they will stop because their perseverance is awesome aswell,

While Sergio Perez you can not compare Vax Verstappen to Sergio Perez they might have the same RB19 machine but their skills and technique are way beyond different and the upgrading team teams they surely are getting the upgrade and the improvement they want to have while Sergio Perez is still the same pace in his recent performance and RedBull is not surely happy about it,

There has been alot of talk of drivers moving around to different teams lately.
So nothing at this point would be a surprise to hear.
Even on the Sportsbet F1 pool thread for the forum there has been a prediction that Norris will move to Ferrari by 2025.
https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/m.62551408

This we will have to see it to believe it really.
With Tsunoda going to Aston Martin and Ricciardo settling at Red Bull in a few driver swap out between those two teams is more plausible than this discussion really.
But you never know.

Anything can happen in a blink of an eye and just like that the teams can surely change their driver in an instant without fair warning well Lando Norris could be at any team that he wants and if that team really wants him, but in the recent upgrade of the McLaren I really think that Norris is satisfied with the performance of his Machine so maybe there will be a change of Driver or maybe not, but for sure the most important here is what is happening now and Nyck De Vries is out and Daniel Ricciardo is In for now that is certain a fact,

Im gonna say a very controversial thing, for me Checo Perez its out of Red Bull no matter what, because the relationship its broken between him and the team, and also i think the team play "dirty" with him. It was very strange , when he started to complain against team orders and some MV things suddenly his car start to develop really bad and also him..... really suspicious, i dont think he is driving so bad for me the car was nerf, i dont find other exlanation.

It could have been the case but I don't really think that the team is treating Perez like that in my opinion and that Nerfing the car was all speculation only but we can surely give our opinion about it, and Sergio Perez is looking determined in the Last Austria GP, that he did the podium, it is just a coincidence that the other team's upgrade has caused him to fail so much against Verstappen, well you can surely get different results with the race, and I really don't think that the team will Sabbotage Perez F1 machine just to kick him out, the RedBull Management can likely do it if the chemistry between drivers fall down and when Perez Decided that he can take the role of Max Verstappen I really think as a 2nd driver he is the one who should let his teammate that is on front to just stay on to it, well on 2018 when Daniel Ricciardo was on Verstappen front he just lets Ricciardo on front and stay on the back of Daniel Ricciardo because he said it was discipline, well back then RedBull doesn't have a number 1 and a number 2 driver so the 2 RedBull is allowed to compete at 1 another and they feel sorry when both driver crash they said they just want to race each other, now Sergio Perez is the number 2 driver for me he should act as number 2,

For me if Sergio Perez is out of the RedBull I really wish he can get back into another team and maybe on Ferrari I really think that Sergio Perez is fit to the Ferrari Moniker, and exchange to Carlos Sainz maybe, but this could take place when RedBull decided to take out Sergio Perez to the team, and if Carlos Sainz is having a bad time then he should completely leave the Ferrari team,

Isn't Ferrari treating Sainz the exact same way though?
Atleast that is how it sounds if you listen to their back and forth on the team radio calls during all the races since the beginning of the season. Maybe except for the very first race in Bahrain where he had reached fourth place.
Or maybe it is like this because he is the second driver.
So Perez and Sainz are treated in the exact same way by their team, as second fiddles to the main men driving.

Liam Lawson looks like a good alternative at this point, he has been driving with Red Bull for a while and he is younger. Why am I saying this? Because if Riccardio doesn't race amazingly well, and I mean like not just good, literally amazingly well, then why put him at that second driver position instead of Perez?

Plus, he may do well enough to be staying at AT there is no doubt about that but that's just one team, and it's not the car Red Bull has, different car and as you can see from the results it's not one of the best cars neither, Yuki did alright but I am not sensing it's going to change much. So all in all I feel like DR will stay at AT next season, and Perez will leave and that should end up with something much better later on.

I don't really knew Liam Lawson, as I am not really well verse on other drivers or mostly past drivers of the F1 other than Michael Shumacher of course, but yeah if Nyck De Vries is out of the AlphaTauri and Daniel Ricciardo is up I think in there Ricciardo can showcase if he is a better driver than Yuki Tsunoda or we could see an equal level for the same car, and so Liam Lawson could get a position next season if Sergio Perez couldn't keep up to the performance of Max Verstappen, or not then Daniel Ricciardo is up next season for RedBull then Lawson could enter Alpha Tauri for the meantime, I really think that could happen next season for sure,

@owentang09 I seen the videoclips of the new Brad Pitt movie about F1. They haven't decided on a name yet for the film about a fictional F1 team and him playing an aging driver who has to come back to the team he once left.
Making this scenario with Ricciardo seem like his sudden path back to the Red Bull team inwhich he started with come full circle. Grin

I really think that they will showcase another great story telling and a sure great movie this coming years and this is all about the F1 race which is not really been on topic there is a movie back in 2013 about the Formula One race and the movie was titled Rush the story was about James Hunt and was portrayed by Chris Hemsworth I really don't see the movie yet but maybe I will watch it for sure, but with the latest Brad Pitt movie there is no specific driver that they are portraying and the story was about an Formula One driver struggling about father time,

I think the plan of RB its pretty easy, if Ricciardo performs good on AlphaTauri what its left of the season he its gonna be again in RedBull for 2024 alongside Max Verstappen.

And its a wise decission, you gain a really good second driver, and one who knows the team and team knows him, also he tested all the year the last car, so.... win win.

In personal words, i like to see him coming back, Daniel its always a charmfull guy.
Ultimately Checo Perez maybe see Daniel Ricciardo as a threat in his seat, but RedBull surely sees this as a motivational thing for Checo, which for me is not really helping because right now Sergio Perez is under more pressure than he ever looks but Sergio Perez still got the points lead and he still got half the calendar to fill so yeah let's just look forward on what may happen to him in the next season, because it is highly unlikely that he will be replaced this season,

I have certain doubts that Ricciardo was taken to Alfa Tauri in order to look at his preserved skills with the expectation of then raising him to Red Bull in case of a successful performance, although this cannot be ruled out if Ricciardo suddenly starts to enchant and constantly take the podiums to Alfa Tauri. But no, most likely Red Bull is more likely to bargain for time until the end of the season to decide on new candidates for a place in their two teams, because to be honest, De Vries just showed himself terribly, and Red Bull was always quick to deal with his losers who did not use the chance given to them.

Well, Daniel Ricciardo has a lot of rest time in the F1 field and this is likely to just keep him at pace on how to drive a real F1 card feels like, then with the Simulation Races to test the car, For sure he has accepted it for some reason and to gain traction to his career, and AlphaTauri is still associated with RedBull so he still in RedBull technically, and sad to say for Nyck De Vries he got to move on on this I just wish he got the heart to accept it,

You gotta feel for DeVries but the guy didn't pull out any magical laps and the age is not in his favor at all but then , his past is not so happy because the guy really struggled to get in F1 and more than this , he borrowed a lot of money to pay for his seat which now we clearly see that it didn't payed out so I hope the guy will be fine and will look for another motorsport competition.

Ricciardo ..meh , I never considered him a top driver and I still think he is not one. Sure , he got another chance but will he perform ? that is the question. Because clearly he cannot compete for top10 with that car and also the car was build around Tsunoda which is pretty small compared to him and I have the same feeling that he will struggle with Alpha like he struggled with McLaren because the different in height between them is too damn big. Anyway , the rest of the season should prove if Ricciardo still got it or he lost the passion to drive.

That is if he can pass the litmus test and outperform Yuki Tsunoda for the remaining races of the season.
Then he can shine infront of the Red Bull team and Helmut Marko will make the decision like he did with De Vries.

Now that I look at that video that was posted by @jakelyson a few weeks ago with Max and Yuki driving those big wheel trucks around, this could of been a sign by Red Bull & Alpha Tauri on things to come.
Who knows. Cheesy
For me in a very personal opinion Yuki Tsunoda its a very bad driver, he make so many mistakes on track, i dont know why RB still have so much patience with him, well in reality i know why, and its because some agreement between RB and Honda, and also because they can publish themselves so much in Japan having him. Its more a marketing thing than a deportive one.
You just might be right.
When it comes to F1 it is all about the sponsorships of the drivers and the marketability they present to their teams.
And with the Honda parts deal, Yuki Tsunoda is as close you can get to being represented to the Japanese fanbase.

@owengtam09 Don't you think it was the new chrome livery that had the McLaren's take top 4 in the race today?
Joking aside, those upgrades very much made the difference today and the team calls for their strategies on tyre changes and pitstops that had them top over Mercedes from what Hamilton even mentioned during his post race interview.
He was surprised how they improved since the previous races from the beginning of the season.

I knew Norris would do well and start at the front row but didn't imagine he would of held it and would of ended up on the podium by the end of the race.
Well done McLaren and even Albion for getting P8. I was shocked with Ferrari's performance at being in the last spots of the top 10.

Maybe the Drivers are digging the new look of their MCL35 but surely underneath that good looking slick paint the upgrades are really good Lando Norris got a pretty much decent qualifying and Race for sure in the recent performance of Lando Norris and Oscar Piastri are doing great I just hope the new look will stay, both the drivers of Mclaren are really digging their upgrades and their slick look for sure,

I am not personally against anything that supports more security and safety for the drivers. These are the guys that uses a car that goes 300+ km per hour, that's as fast as it gets but the difference is that they are also using one that could slip out any second, if you are not careful then traction could be gone in a milisecond and everything will be terrible after that, we still have death in this sport and we should be careful about every possible thing if we can hopefully.

These cars go from 300+ to under 80 in less than half a second, with just one brake, and that's why it's very dangerous. So if that corner has to be fixed then it has to be fixed, I do not care how traditional it was, if it's a risk then it should be removed to save more lives.

I agree, this is for the safety of all drivers and yes the car and the drivers are moving on certain top speed so accidents can surely happen but if we could lessen it with just changing the tracks or corners it is certainly could help for the safety of the drivers but for the upcoming Belgium GP if there isn't enough time to change that Corner then it is all up to hoping that there isn't any accident that might happen,

Have to say that's one of the biggest assessments that I didn't even take in until it actually was bruoght up here. This tells me to listen more and more to gut feelings that home crowd support is really important in F1. The only thing is I got burned after Monaco and thought it wasn't going to be the British day, and went to put Hamilton in 4th instead of podium. Big moment also for Stroll who completely missed out I think he has to assess his pace and competitiveness now.

Verstappen is a genius, are we all willing to accept this now Smiley

Well, Max Verstappen is a safe bet on going into the podium and surely at the 1st place for the race Surely we can now trust Max Verstappen on that and with the 2nd and 3rd position well the place surely gives some drivers an advantage and the home crowd cheering sometimes giving the drivers an edge to never give up, well I think for the 2nd and 3rd position we can give to to the driver that is or making a good performance on the Practice runs and qualifying for sure,

And on Silverstone Brad Pitt is spotted filming about in their upcoming movie well and now Brad Pitt is surely now interested in F1 because he got his own team now, https://youtu.be/i9uMYRfM6f0 and the new movie will surely be great here is the video https://youtu.be/M9l-sadjUAw surely a great watch for the fans of F1 and the motorsports industry,

I would prefer Ricciardo instead of Perez at Red Bull honestly. Because Ricciardo is a way more skilled driver than Perez. One can understand that even by comparing his time to Perez's time at Red Bull. Ricciardo was even able to bring the competition to Verstappen. If it weren't for some issues between the two drivers Ricciardo would have still stayed for a longer time period.

I don't say that Perez is not skilled but I just started to think he is overrated. Because he makes simple mistakes quite often these days. He is even having big issues with qualifying for Q3. Red Bull doesn't have to watch his trying to climb to top places from for example 15th place.

I think Red Bull would make use of a more consistent driver and I believe Ricciardo deserves a second chance.

Well, Daniel Ricciardo really is a skilled driver, and saying that the management of Red Bull is readying him to replace Sergio Perez whenever he gets sideways in the performance department, then he is there just to keep Checo performing well, but likely Daniel Ricciardo is driving on the simulation and calibrating the cars to function well, I really think they can say he can go toe to toe with Verstappen is because of the Simulation race, pretty much I would like to see that and if Sergio Perez would likely be taken out of the RedBull team in place of Ricciardo then I will be OK with that, But right now Nyck De Vries is out and Daniel Ricciardo is in,

Well, that is the whole Plan I think that Red Bull's intentions were pretty much clear they want Daniel Ricciardo to be ready to replace whoever is not performing well, and I truly get what Red Bull is doing here for sure right now Alpha Tauri is where Daniel Ricciardo is going to be, I say because Yuki Tsunoda is looking great with the Alpha Tauri, so it is goodbye to Nyck De Vries, for sure,
