I could see facebook potentially accepting BTC for payment for facebook credits in the future, but I would doubt that they would allow users to buy things with BTC directly.

Off platform transaction occur on ebay and amazon all the times.

The only issue is trust. For facebook store with reputation, they can easily convince buyer to send payment first before shipping items.

I am not so sure about amazon but I do know that off platform transactions are against ebay's rules. With facebook sellers/merchants can leverage facebook's trust to get people to pay for their product and be confident they will receive what they paid for. If a sale is done on the merchant's own site then the consumer will likely at least think they are at risk.

Probably not as if anything is going to be purchased on the FB site it will be purchased using FB credits. Facebook will not allow otherwise. The only way around this restriction is to direct users to some third party site to buy whatever they are going to buy however this would decrease to some effect the level of legitimacy of the purchase.

AFAIK facebook has rules against this. The most common use for facebook credits is for in-game purchases, and maybe for advertising (although I am not 100% sure on this). AFAIK if someone wants to sell something "inside" facebook, then they need to use facebook credits; if they want to use some other payment method then they can use their own website to sell their product on.
